Yet Another Zombie Survivors

Somehow, 43 hours disappeared into this zombie blender. Yet Another Zombie Survivors takes the familiar survivor formula and gives it a satisfying squad-based twist. You choose your starting survivor, build the rest of your team from the options the game throws at you, and then try to turn that unpredictable lineup into a screen-clearing disaster for the undead. The combat feels great when a build comes together, the progression keeps giving you reasons to start one more run, and the escalating chaos hits exactly the right part of the brain. It is easy to pick up, hard to put down, and apparently capable of devouring 43 hours without leaving a body. Definitely recommended.

I started in the bullet heaven genre with Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor and went looking for more. I found this which seemed to be a simple indie game but I'd be lying if I didn't day that it's insanely addicting and can easily take up hours without even noticing. I also play on my Steam Deck and can verify that it runs great on there with only minor stuttering at the highest settings in larger/longer matches. Looking forward to 1.0 as I didn't even realize the game was early access.
