An excellent game.
Fun game! I posted my first live video playing this game! I hope more levels are coming.
游戏团队更新了大量内容,确实是用心在做游戏,再做点剧情都能成为新“孤胆枪手”。
Roguelite survivors muy recomendable.

good survivor game
I've been playing this game since Jan 2024 and it's been awesome to see the devs continually hone and shape this game for the better. (We are currently on V0.9.2a) The iterations that various systems have gone through have made this EA title satisfying to pick back up again and give another spin. While I was unsure about the changes a few times, they made sense as I played them through and added to the satisfaction. Gotta say, happy to find another company doing EA and player feedback right. From the first run that I played, I enjoyed the gameplay of this Lawnmower game. (My nickname for the survivor genre, where you can mow through hordes of enemies.) You're always on the move with the various enemy types, bosses, the new elites, and the variety of pickups that fuel the systems for your team's growth/progression. (In Vampire Survivors, I could just get to a point where I walk away and make lunch, then come back to my game lagging, wondering what I could do to entertain myself while I "played" the game.) You'll enjoy trying different combinations of survivors, abilities and items to make your builds. There is a decent amount of grind here, but refunding the points spent in a survivor tree so that you can focus on a different weapon or synergy is relatively painless and means you don't have to max out every node to fully enjoy them. The game is also as challenging as you're feeling up for, so depending on what your mood it can be a chill slaughter or a white knuckle terror; it depends on what you're up for. Anyway, love the game. One of my fave Lawnmowers!
I haven't had time to review this game becaue I'm too busy playing it.
So far this game is in the lower-mid range of survival roguelikes. It has a convincing atmosphere that isn't well represented, so it has that going for it. It runs and looks passable - also good. There are, however, quite a few things holding it back from being in the upper-echelon of similar games. First of all, there just isn't that much unique about it. You have a smallish number of classes, and get up to three of them per run. They're appropriately unique in their own regards, but they honestly have less customization options than analogous mechanics in other games. Take Deeprock Galactic Survivor for example. Here you have less classes (only five), but a HUGE amount of weapons with their own tree of unique upgrades, etc. That just doesn't exist here. Almost every upgrade you find are bog standard - faster attack rate, more damage, etc. The classes are also fairly boring, with skills that operate like less interesting versions of what you'd find in other games. The main thing, however, is that the games take a LOOOONNGGG time. Every map I've been on so far is TWENTY minutes long. That is a very long time for a single roguelike run. The maps and monsters, too, are just kind of mid. The small arena-like maps you're dropped into have very little character to them - flat, no foliage or buildings to navigate through. Pickups just appear magically from the sky, as do survivors to rescue. Monsters aren't bad looking (in fact, I like the overall graphical style), but the variation in them is pretty lacking. In other words, you're stuck for twenty minutes at a time (unless you die, of course), looking at the same enemies on a boring map. The action itself is pretty good, with one main complaint - Unlike something like DRG: Survivor, where your run is based around up to five weapons that you find via upgrades, here you have a small three-man team moving around the map. That's a great idea, except it makes it very difficult to tell when you are and aren't going to get hit by enemies or projectiles. The damage is fairly punishing, so these unhelpful hitboxes can spell real (and sometimes immediate) trouble for a run. There is a red circle that makes your teams position on the ground, but it really feels like zombies and projectiles alike will actually hit your characters' models, even if they didn't actually collide with the red circle. All in all, I think they could poor some more time and design into this and bring it up to one of the better survival roguelikes out there, but we'll see what the developer does with it. I give it a tepid thumbs up for the time being.
