My face hurts after 3 hours of playing from all the laughing.

I wanted to like Yesterday's News, but it didn't work for my family and I ended up asking for a refund. I think it requires some quality of life changes before I would consider buying it again. Here are our criticisms: First: We play on a television in my living room in big screen mode. Unfortunately, Yesterday's News doesn't support a controller and I had to grab my keyboard. Controller support would be appreciated. It would also be nice if the mouse cursor would disappear from the screen after a few seconds of mouse inactivity. Second: The game only has a QR code or a IP address to connect to the game room. It wasn't clear for the less tech savvy family members in the room and it took us a few more minutes to get everyone connected. A simple web address similar other games in this genre would be appreciated. Third: Although a lesser criticism, the host fell kind of flat for us. I think he could be improved. Fourth: This is a simple thing, but the entry boxes don't have an "enter" or "next" button. Sure, you can just press "enter" on the virtual keyboard, but not everyone realized that at first. Fifth: We have a couple of family members that should probably know their grammar terms at their age, but they unfortunately don't. It would be nice if noun, adjective, and verb categories had an example or definition in brackets for the dunces in my family. Sixth: Perhaps we need more entries for each headline as most of our created headlines seemed mediocre at best, though granted we were already a bit frustrated by the time we got the game actually going and only played a couple of rounds. I think Yesterday's News has potential, but ultimately it is not quite there yet.

Fun game if you have fun friends. The game doesn't get in the way of you and your players playing fast and being the funny ones the way some other party games do by having long voice acting or animations. It worked with three, but four players made it a lot better! No non-PC (ex. Android) client available, but maybe in the cards if the game had more success?
