Very well made. I played through the whole game in just 2 days, that hasn't happened to me in a long while. The game had me hooked so hard from beginning to end. I love moral choices and seeing how they affect the story and I can say that the developers managed to capture what makes choices fun. There were a couple of times where the obviously good ethic choice was at the same time the objectively best outcome making the choice bland in it's nature, but those instances were few. Also, I don't how I got to the end without understanding how exactly the reign's moral worked :b In short, Great story, Great characters and beautiful plot twists. The world is very much believable, even though there are some weird stuff like the magic, rituals, fantastical beasts, etc. Some might find that appealing, a world cloaked in mystery, is magic real? is it all perfectly explainable scientifically? I couldn't get in that mood 'cause it felt like the writer just didn't decide properly the expanse and boundaries of it's world and was left to the player to do the heavy lifting.
I'm not the kind of person that liked the UI in this game, I feel like the font was always unappealing. I would have liked an option to change it. There are lots of different resolutions for pixel art which I don't like. The mix between pixel art and digital art is also kinda jarring. The visual design in general wasn't good enough for me, didn't have enough cohesion or a visible purpose. I forgot to say that individually the art is gorgeous, what I dislike is how it has been woven together.
There were a lot of little details that I find weird, but I'm happy to say that most of what comes in this game's package is satisfying
