this game saved my life

A true masterwork of game design and artistic expression.

Overall, I would have to rate this game a solid 8.2/10. The game play, while simple, encapsulated me for the entire duration of the runtime. I felt as if my life was in danger while playing, showcasing the creator's excellent use of audio and immersion. The presentation of the game really did envelop the pure genuine feeling of childlike dread and fear that I have lost upon growing up. I felt like some sort of monster would pop up and I winced looking at the screen, to which then it never did give what I expected. This game feels as if I had been randomly reverted to my younger self watching the shadows trick my brain into thinking that there was a monster at the edge of my bed. The game is nowhere near as scary as any horror movie or thriller, but it did manage to reimburse that primal fight or flight sensation, better than any cheesy analog horror online could ever achieve. -------[8.2/10]-------- - Siini
