love it . shhivered me timbers i like the silly text and jingle when u catch fish. kinda like spongebob goes fishing in silent hill
Why is everyone overhyping this game? It's complete trash

This game had all of the things that I like about analog horror games. The visuals, the weirdness, and of course, the silly spookyness. You can tell that the people who worked on this game are fans of the genre, it just nails that vibe that good analog horror games have. If you like this type of game, I highly recommend this one. A playthrough takes an hour or so, and it's free. I'm actually a little disappointed that I put off playing this game for so long.
Pretty neat and its free
simples, porém absurdamente bom.
The "fishing-horror" genre is surprisingly well populated and Wretched Depths is well designed and content rich example of it. I honestly wish there was more of it, but since it was designed as a capstone project and available for free I can't complain. I would recommend Wretched Depths to anyone looking for a good free game to last a few hours, it's probably one of the strongest little free games on Steam. I look forward to seeing what the devs produce should they decide to stay in game development.
Very impressive for what it is. A proof of concept fleshed out just enough to call it a game. The gameplay loop, though simple, is actually very polished, the tone, visuals, and atmopshere are all on point, but the story feels a little underdeveloped.
A cozy horror fishing game without cheap jumpscares. I liked it
