I had a conversation with the creator of the game, and he took feedback really well! He's genuinely really nice and has actually improved my view on this game. I recommend giving it a try out!

A major failure in FPS is having poor DPI settings. Why is my mouse faster while aiming down sights? Why does it not use my native DPI? Gross. Yuck

The toughest opponent was the sound settings.
I'm not sure if this was supposed to be a real game or just an aim trainer, but it failed at both. "Wraith" is an interesting but unfortunately badly made take on the FPS genre... no content, everything is procgen, so that's an immediate fail. The idea in this one is that you run around and shoot some AI, and I guess the developer was trying to make this "brutally difficult" by having the action run exceedingly fast. But it falls flat because the control handling and look and feel are total jank... really rough and unpolished. The best FPS games are the best because the look and feel are perfect... tight, responsive controls that you can dial in perfectly, so single player feels fun to play and PvP is all about your skill rather than how much you have to fight with the controls. That's great game design. Here, there's no polish, it's a janky and unpleasant mess. Combine that with the awful graphics and procgen instead of real content, and we can see why this failed. In terms of visuals, this features fairly low quality low poly 3D graphics which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and while some developers struggle with creating high quality visuals, failing to do so is a disservice to gamers. It's very difficult to recommend bad looking games. This game features very lacklustre minimalist "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy". Yes, contemporary 3D graphics take a lot of time and effort to create. That doesn't mean it's okay not to bother! Developers must try to understand that gaming is a visual medium, and gamers spend a lot of money on high end gaming rigs for a reason. And that reason is not so they can look at lazy, phoned-in half efforts like this. The developer chose not to do the job of a real game developer and create meaningful bespoke levels, narrative based gameplay progression and so on. Instead, they decided that "Procgen IS content!" and lazily tried to use procgen algorithms to create infinite, samey, repetitive, soulless levels, because that's a lot less work. As a result of this poor decision, the game gets tired and repetitive almost immediately. Developers must learn that procgen is a terrible substitute for creating real content. It should not be used as "ez-mode" for content creation, as the developer tried to do here. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. Even as a free product, this couldn't find an audience. With a peak of only 6 users, it's clear the Steam community took one look and walked away. They literally couldn't pay people to spend time with this. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? This is a "nope". While it won't necessarily cost you money, the time and hard drive space it requires could be better invested in one of the many higher quality alternatives on Steam. At the end of the day, my reviews are intended to help gamers find quality and avoid the dregs (with over 140,000 games on Steam... not all of them are masterpieces). If you think my review is wrong, definitely add this to your library, download it and play it... it's surely exactly the kind of game you'll love (but I doubt it will work out that way). Game reviews are for gamers to share their thoughts and help others choose where to spend valuable time. If my review helps you to grab or reject this game, then my job is done.
so tuff my pants fell off
хороший ранер хоть и сложный
it is fun
Not personally a big fan of roguelikes, but I think the gameplay loop is fun. The game is as simple as one might expect from a free game, it's not *particularly* unique, and it's admittedly a little rough around the edges, but I honestly dig the gameplay nonetheless.
