About
You are the only one stopping an alien invasion... and loving every second of it! In this remake of 2014's Wrack, play as Kain as you shoot, slash, and hyperblast your way through a horde of invading aliens and robots to keep your planet safe.

Kill Streaks: Rack up kill after kill to earn a kill streak! The more damage you pump into an enemy, the more extreme its death, and the more time you have to keep your streak going.
Resets: Kill enemies a second time by exploding their corpse into giblets to reset your timer! Use your current weapon(s), or your melee attack to slice a corpse to bits.
Fast Movement: Use your fast movement speed and abilities, like a super jump, to evade enemy attacks, and find secrets and treasure!
Bosses: When you're done racking up a huge kill streak, duke it out with minibosses and bosses... and put your skills to the test!

New Weapons: Expand your arsenal with the addition of the gloogun, SMG, and railgun! (The Pulsar will return...) In addition, all weapons now have an alternate fire giving you a richer, more in-depth experience.
Hyperblasts: Build them up by dealing damage, and then unleash your powerful hyperblasts to take down tough enemies, or wipe out groups of weak ones!
Unreal Engine: Wrack has been remade in Unreal Engine 4, to give you the most optimized, high-fidelity experience possible.

dont get me wrong this game is fun, but this the second time they released wrack and it died, DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A DA MN CLIFFHANGER
The game gave me nostalgic feelings. It felt like playing Unreal Tournament 2004 when I was younger, but as single player. I really like the visuals and the juice the game has! I also really like the difficulty (played on Hardcore) with almost instant retries on the harder parts. Totally recommend for fast shooter fans!

Its not bad, but its nothing special either. The shooting works well enough, and the game has a pretty decent visual style. Theres a decent enough amount of guns and they all have alt fires as well as a special fire. The game focuses a lot on killstreaks which can be novel, although the points from it seem useless. The manual checkpoint placing is annoying and I still have no idea if you have a set number or how it works, but you'll forget to place them until its too late and be forced to replay entire levels, which is pretty dumb game design. The bosses are decent challenge and theres a good amount of difficulty options for any type of player. One of the other issues is the game length, as it was SUPER short, and honestly it just kind of ended all of a sudden when I had no idea I was even close to the finish. You could do worse but theres also a lot of better boomer shooters out there as well. 7/10.
A fast paced arcade style FPS with the emphasis on killstreaks and maintaining the flow to achieve high scores. The game features a nice arsenal of weapons, all of which have a secondary and special fire options. The gameplay loop is pretty satisfying and will keep you hooked as you go from one level to another blowing away enemies and bosses. The game is on the short side however as my playthrough came in just 2 and half hours but there is replay value in trying to get higher scores and finding secrets. There is promise of 2 more episodes to come in the future, as to whether these will be free updates or paid DLC is unknown at this time. I do give this game a recommendation as it is a fun time but be wary of it's as of now short length. I look forward to seeing all future content updates.
Excellent ! Si vous avez aimé le jeu Original, vous allez adoré Réclamation !
Wrack Reclamation is A decently solid and quite fun movement shooter that's well worth checking out.
good stuff
Arcade fun, the core loop is pushing you to learn sequences of the arenas and keep up the combo/ gib-spree. You could just play it in a quick-save-y liniar fashion, but then it's just average. It takes too long to get the real rocket launcher, then it dumps all the weapons on you in the course of like, 3 maps. It really is the perfect mix of 2011 unreal 3 with all the quality of life we learned in the meantime, it's a smooth experience without going into the modern zoomer-shooter tropes. Sword the size of a surf board with a parry window long enough to parry 12 tennis-ball sized bullets at a time. Bosses can be interrupted. If nothing else, go listen to Markie's "Hyperblast" from the Reclamation soundtrack
