I've been a massive fan of tower defense games growing up as a kid. This was by far the best I have ever experienced. The first person action you get was a new feature to me and I absolutely LOVE the rogue aspect of the game which makes things even more interesting. The game definitely scratched that tower defense itch I had and I continue to come back to it. Every new round is different from the last and you will find some runs harder than others which keeps your engaged every time you start a new run or continue a previous one. The different characters is another fun aspect that will highly encourage you to complete the game with each one and you will find your favorite. Each character is different in their own way so its really just a lot of fun to keep you playing for hours. If you are a fan of games with rogue like aspects this is totally for you. If you're a fan of tower defense games you might get confused at first about going into 1st person but soon will be extremely thankful and have yourself a few laughs along the way. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride everyone, throw on some tunes and try your best to get on the scoreboard if you can, good luck, have fun and the community is pretty friendly as well.
We need Chinese
I received a key for free in return for my honest review. I played about a half hour into Wrack: Exoverse before I realized this was not the game for me. The soundtrack was pretty amazing and the art style was really well done. However, I got less of an adventure feel and more of a repetitive tower defense feel for this game. The levels looked wonderful in regards to color and art style but overall they were fairly redundant and didn't really inspire anything more than a "Oh, that's kind of pretty." As a disclaimer, I did not play the original Wrack, I wasn't even aware there was an original to begin with. The game didn't really seem to offer much story-wise but like I said, I played for about a half hour and I haven't been able to launch it since. I don't know whether that is an issue with the game itself or if it's something on my end, I haven't really been torn up about not being able to play the game. Simply put, this is a FPS Tower Defense. It's not innovative nor is it exciting. It just is. If that's your cup of tea, go for it; but for $15, I would expect just a little bit more than an oversized mobile game.
Better that Sanctum. You need to add endless mode, multi-user mode, fix some errors, add the ability to pay in the store for updating items so that players can assemble the assembly that they would like to play! 8/10 Postscript I have been playing Tover Defense for 10 years, thanks to the developers for this game! Please do not stop improving the game! -Please redo the mechanics of the machine-gun tower, for 3 worlds I could not find the marker, the balance of the game. Passed a game on hardcore.
i thought its nice to support this, but its released.. finish.. and they close their studio now... -the start was a resolution of 320x*** nice..^^ -animations .. dont talk about -options doesnt make a better performance (i can play stuff like borderlands 3, man of medan etc very well) -tutorial is nonsense.. range=? deal 0 damage when i stand in front? i had big hopes for this, because wrack 1 was really cool good luck for your new ways and enjoy
very fun game
EDIT DESPUES DE 3 AÑOS, DE LA ULTIMA REVIEW: +NO PUEDO PARAR DE VOLVER, CON ESPERANZAS VACIAS; realmente quiero ver si hubo progreso, DESPUES DEL 2019.
A game that tried to do too many things, and ended up not doing any of them well. Sadly the developers have also gone out of business, so there are probably no fixes in the future. My own experience was that it was enjoyable for a little over half an hour, then bogged down and I walked away. Oddly enough that is just long enough to make a refund impossible. Coincidence? No clue. Shame too, because it looked good, but it never really lived up to that promise. In addition a tower defense with towers that only shoot in one direction is pretty rough to play. The first-person-shooter aspect overwhelms the TD stuff anyway, and TD is what I was hoping for, with a little FPS on the side. Simply cannot give this a thumbs up, sorry.
