Reviews
This is a good game and the devs deserve better than a measly 30 reviews. IF YOU ALREADY OWN THIS GAME, PLEASE REVIEW IT! I understand the concept isn't earth-shatteringly good like the latest AAA open world behemoth but, seriously, it's only $10. For $10 did I get my money's worth? Hell yes. If you've played snake before, you know the basic premise: guide the snake to eat the objectives without running into walls or yourself. But the snake gets longer with the more you eat, ramping up difficulty. Pocket Moon has taken that basic formula and riffed on it in exactly the way a basic concept should be. The fundamental game is absolutely there but it feels like an honest to goodness proper update for our time. It's challenging and exciting. I find myself reaching for it when I need a quick fix game more and more. Absolutely worth the $10. If you already own it, you should review it.
Snake is one of those arcade games everyone likes. This game is in dire need of some marketing because it deserves way more attention.
truly an incredible find, game feel is fantastic, pacing is FAST but in the best way possible!
This game is so easy to pick up and play. The ability to adapt each run adds to the replay-ability and overall engagement to the game. I'm straight up worming it rn, and this game has made me hole again. Thank you to Big Worm!
This game is insane and is instantly fun. I like the voiceovers.
amazing aesthetics, great sound design, solid game design, fun game loop. What snake should have always been
While I only played it for a little while, I did unlock all the abilities, Claw has to be my favorite. Thought this would be a funny little game, but it's actually fun as hell for the limited amount of gameplay that's offered. It's got some good retro charm to it, and the controls are tight. Though be warned that it is a fast paced game, so if you prefer something a little more on the casual time killer side then I'd probably avoid it. Otherwise it's quite the little gem hiding out among many other games. The devs clearly wanted to make something unique from something classic, while still keeping a bit of that classic retro feel. To that I say great job! It's great to see something that is just genuinely fun without simply throwing in a weird gimmick and calling it a day.
* WORMHOLE * What a fantastic game. There is phenomenal attention to detail in the game designs aspects. For example, you always spawn with a planet directly in front of you at the start of a level to avoid any B.S. moments off the start of the level. The game is difficult but rewarding. The sound design and music are FIRE. My head bobs the entire time I play. It's blowing me away. The way the music slows down and distorts when you are close to dying, and the relief that washes over you when you save yourself at the last moment and the music snaps back to it's regular tempo!! I said it before and I'll say it again: * WORMHOLE *
