Don't let what looks like simple platforming fool you. This game is hard. The controls are simple - you have a dash and you have a jump. You can charge your dash and use it on the ground or mid-air, and this is how you control your momentum. What is not simple, however, is succeeding. You will fall and you will die, a lot. You will get portaled back to the start of the area far more often than you would like when a portal loop catches you off-guard. But you know what? That's exactly what you want from a game like this. It's super punishing, but you also get moments of relief. Sometimes a portal will send you slightly forward, instead of backward. When you accumulate some momentum and all the jumps and dashes start flowing - you feel like you can own the game! (Until you inevitably bump into a ledge or a wall and get portaled back to the start of the area... woe is me.) Should you buy this game? Absolutely. The difficulty and deceptively simple gameplay is addicting. If tough platformers like Jump King are your cup of tea, Wormhole will scratch that itch. On a side note, the pixel art is quite nice with scenic changes to various biomes. The music does get a little repetitive after struggling for a while, but that's easily fixed by muting and putting on something else to get you pumped. The soundtrack is non-intrusive though, which is nice if you leave it on.

Probably my favourite of the difficult to master continuous platform games that I've played. Takes a lot of practice and tries but once you master the controls, the momentum feels so good and satisfying to speed pass platforms. I'd be super pumped to see professional speed run of someone blaze through in one try. Also the worlds are very pretty and a vibe, a lot better than other difficult continuous platforms like jump king and getting over it which tend to have very clustered environments. Awesome and cathartic game for anyone looking for a challenge.

I have screamed, cried, and sacrificed a good hour in playing this game. My fingers bleed from the intensity of this game, and my eyes twitch when I think of the word "Wormhole". so yeah 10/10 would cry over and play again.

This game is F*ckin hard, almost beat it then got sent back to oblivion. Great game, really fun, and really hard to master the mechanics. 10/10 would recommend it! Definitely gonna put in tons of hours and for a really cheap price.

Very fun game, I'm not the best at platformers but playing this game has made me better. It is challenging but rewarding at the same time, once you get that rhythm going. The art style and sound track are well-crafted, 10/10 would recommend!

I'm the kind of person who plays a game for the story, not the difficulty. There's something that makes this game very special to me, and that's the Auto Jump mode. I suck at most video games--it took me 81 hours to beat Hollow Knight, and I only finished it because of the immortality mod I added to the game. I turned on the Auto Jump mode in Wormhole, and not only beat the game, but had an incredible time doing so. Another really awesome thing is the huge text in the game. I'm visually impaired, and I almost started crying when I saw how big the font in this game is--I can actually read it, without having to use my magnification program, or smashing my face up against the screen.

Great game, super fun and challenging. If you like a challenging platformer i would definitely recommend this to anyone!

Lovely game, perfect for any gamer that needs a challenge. Kicked my ass pretty much the entire time I played it but I would run it back every time.
