The smartphone version has received a high rating of 4.3 out of 5 stars. One notable feature is the exceptionally long average playtime, as players can have children within the game and continue playing as the next generation.

The game now supports two official Steam controller configurations: Xbox 360 and PS3. Keyboard controls are also supported (mouse controls are not currently supported).
