World Wide Hack

A bit of a clumsy clone of hackmud with extra mechanics that don't really add anything to the game. The volume varies and is either far too loud or far too quiet, and the first mission "in the real game" bugged out and wouldn't let me finish it (I took all money from the defendant and sent it to the accuser after trying to split the money, but the protectors wouldn't let me call it done). All in all, an interesting play, but certainly not something I'd suggest right now

Starts off well then the tutorial ends and it ask's you to link your steam account even though I purchased it via Steam. This 'linking'process is broken and you cant progress the game with out a successful link to your steam account. I don't recommend paying for this game. If you can get the demo and play through that its fun but beware of putting any money into this game because you wont see any more game play unless you like redoing the tutorial, again and again. I've sent off bug reports in game and via discord but so far nothing from the devs. If anything changes ill update this entry. ****edit**** Dev got in touch with me on Discord and fixed this issue. It seemed I had a previous version with an old user account linked to my steam, I mistakenly thought the game itself linked and the account you make in the tutorial was for that play through of the game and when i started a new game i used different and new credentials from the candidate list and this the game did not like. With this issue fixed I look forward to continuing the game. Thumbs down to a thumbs up.

This game really needs new updates and not empty promises on the games discord channel. After promises, weeks became months months became over a year, and still the same things being said.. No change = limited interest. by all means give it a go, but i'm sure you'll reach the same point as me once you've played on near-empty/empty server and played the same missions (when they don't bug out) a number of times

NEW REVIEW! 5/6/2025 WEB BASED - ABANDONWARE Well, even more bugs now. And here's a fun one, IT RESTARTS THE GAME! Yeah, right in the tutorial Figured I would give it ANOTHER year or so. But now, it's completely unplayable. Went to fill out the bug report in the game client, Guess what it did? Kicked me out, and reset the game. I WANT to like this game, I really do. I love hacking sims. But apparently I got hacked for what ever they charged for it. DO NOT BUY. IF YOU SEE THIS AFTER YOU BUY BECAUSE IT DOSEN'T WORK REFUND ASAP. THE SERVER IT CONNECTS TO IS BUSTED. GAME NOT FUNCTIONAL ANYMORE 5 hours stuck on the broken tutorial that gets stuck in a loop, "install exploit" over and over, keep typing it, and the router node no longer exists. . . I have even re made an account. . bought 2 keys. . . DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I have completed games like hack net, NITE team 4, uplink, just to name a few. this game should have NEVER been released. You will NOT get a refund after 2 hours of broken loops. The English is broken, the game is a scam. Although they DO succeed on hacking your money via social engineering on steam by getting people to buy it. Again, DO NOT BUY UPDATE!!!! 11/17/23 Tried to restart, Could not. They screwed my game to the point where I can't get back in with my email. Still no tab button for autofil. This game is NOT a game. It's a garbage simulator. I spent 6 hours just trying to figure out how to get started, and I have played multiple hacking simulators. If I COULD get my time and money back I would. But steam kind of drops the ball with ♥♥♥♥ creators like this. 2 hours trying to get everything set up? Too bad, you played 2 hours. We know it's ♥♥♥♥, but we want our 30%

Challenging and immersive.

To be able to play this game at all you cannot be on a restricted network that blocks traffic to/from Czech Republic... Game is ok tho

this is one of the best hacking simulating games i have played passed several difficult levels now im at "the archive node and Crypt program" after passing "the mirror check program" seem a continuation im at rank 4 if you dont like this staff dont played is a very tough head breaker. beutifull game.

Imagine a new Uplink, but the things you are doing are "Experiments" but you still can lose all the same. That's what this game is. Stylish. Sleek. Updated. What more can you ask for? Except.... Has some gamebreaking bugs with the qtwork missions. I'd type it again but this keyboard is too clicky at 3 in the morning. In short, one mission will not "Complete" in qtwork despite you telling the protectors you're "Done". Seems like the protectors storyline might be broken but the hackers storyline isn't? And good fin luck with getting an update now, it's already been a YEAR AND A HALF since last update.
