World War: Rome - Free Strategy Game

Try it, you may like it. This is a portable to PC crossover and it is actually a fun game. However this "Free" version is anything but free. It is basically a demo game and is definitely a "pay to win" game, as you pay ridiculously high amounts of real money to cheat to get ahead. If you found this game and tried the first couple of tutorial scenarios and liked it, then uninstall this game and search for and buy the game called "Grand War: Rome," as it is the exact same game at a reasonable price and you get the entire game. What the devs were thinking by releasing this, I don't know, but the dollar amounts to buy in game gold are absolutely ridiculous.

I am enjoying this. usually i am more of a Total War guy, but this game has me hooked. you really have to use a strategy to win the battles. the movement by turn is kinda annoying, but overall its a great game.

Actually pretty entertaining for a free game. Be sure to save up your gold coins, those are the bottleneck. Heal your main units around the capital city. Just replay map 3 again and let them sit there. Look in the Steam store for Grand War: Rome if you want to buy the full non pay to win game.
