Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

WORLD HEROES PERFECT returns as a carefully preserved version of the eccentric Neo Geo fighting game, combining its original arcade personality with several conveniences expected from a modern PC release. Developed by Code Mystics and published by SNK CORPORATION, this edition wisely avoids turning the experience into a remake. Instead, it maintains the pixel graphics, recognizable combat mechanics, unusual characters, and arcade-style structure while improving areas such as online multiplayer, practice features, and competitive organization. The roster remains one of the game's strongest attractions, offering 19 playable fighters with dramatically different appearances and personalities. Historical and legendary inspiration is mixed with the exaggerated imagination that has always defined the series, resulting in a cast that rarely feels generic. Familiar warriors such as Hanzou Hattori and Janne share the battlefield with far stranger personalities including Mudman and Rasputin. Hidden fighters Son Goku, NEO-DIO, and Zeus are also playable, adding extra value for enthusiasts who want access to the more unusual corners of the roster. Combat is relatively approachable at first but contains enough specialized mechanics to reward dedicated practice. Traditional attacks and special moves form the foundation, while the Hero Gauge expands the player's offensive possibilities. Building this resource allows fighters to unleash enhanced Special Moves and powerful Desperation Attacks, giving matches an additional layer of resource management. Character-specific Extra Attacks provide further tactical possibilities, and guard-crushing techniques discourage opponents from relying excessively on defensive play. The fighting naturally reflects its arcade origins. Movement, attack timing, animation, collision behavior, and general pacing can feel noticeably different from contemporary fighters. This is part of the game's charm, but it also means newcomers should not expect the immediate smoothness or extensive accessibility systems of a newly designed fighting game. Learning the peculiarities of individual characters is important, and some matchups can feel chaotic until the player becomes familiar with each fighter's capabilities. An expanded Practice Mode makes that learning process considerably easier. Players can experiment with attacks, movement, combinations, special techniques, and character-specific strategies without the pressure of an actual match. The ability to manipulate practice speed is especially helpful for understanding difficult sequences or examining exactly how an attack behaves. Players can also remain available for online challenges while practicing, allowing training time to continue rather than simply waiting in a menu for another opponent. Online functionality is one of the most important improvements in this release. Rollback netcode provides the technological foundation needed for responsive fighting-game matches over the internet. While connection quality between players will always influence the experience, rollback is much better suited to timing-sensitive combat than older networking approaches. Online lobbies can accommodate multiple participants, allowing groups to gather, watch the competition develop, and rotate through matches rather than restricting the experience to simple matchmaking. Tournament options add another welcome competitive feature. Single-elimination, double-elimination, and round-robin formats allow players to arrange structured competitions without managing everything externally. The ability to control whether hidden characters are available also provides flexibility for groups that prefer particular competitive rules. Local multiplayer remains available as well, preserving the traditional appeal of sitting beside another player and battling through repeated matches. Visually, this release embraces the original pixel artwork rather than replacing it. The sprites remain expressive, colorful, and frequently bizarre, while the backgrounds reinforce the international tournament atmosphere. The presentation obviously reveals its age when compared with modern high-resolution fighters, yet that vintage appearance is integral to the game's identity. Gallery content featuring classic artwork further strengthens the sense that this edition is intended not only as a playable release but also as a preservation of an older SNK-era fighting experience. Single-player enjoyment largely depends on whether the player appreciates traditional arcade design. There is no massive cinematic adventure or elaborate modern progression system driving the experience forward. Instead, replayability comes from mastering different fighters, exploring their unique moves, completing challenges, earning achievements, and improving personal performance. Players who enjoy mechanical mastery can spend substantial time discovering the strengths and weaknesses of the roster, whereas those primarily seeking narrative content may find the overall structure comparatively straightforward. Steam Deck compatibility is promising for this type of release. The game can be played using the handheld's built-in controls and its straightforward fighting-game structure is naturally appropriate for portable sessions. However, some interface elements may occasionally display prompts associated with a mouse, keyboard, or non-Deck controller. These are relatively minor presentation inconveniences rather than fundamental obstacles to playing. Players who prefer fighting games on a larger controller or arcade stick may still favor desktop play, particularly for demanding competitive matches, but handheld play should be a practical option. The most important consideration is that this is a modernization of an existing classic rather than a reinvention. Players expecting completely redrawn visuals, extensive new story material, major roster expansion, or redesigned combat will not find those things here. Its improvements concentrate instead on making the established game easier to practice, compete in, and enjoy on contemporary hardware. That preservation-minded philosophy works because the original's eccentric identity remains its biggest asset. WORLD HEROES PERFECT ultimately succeeds as an enjoyable restoration of a distinctive arcade fighter. Its mechanics show their age in places, and its structure is considerably leaner than that of modern fighting games, but the unusual roster and energetic battles still provide plenty of entertainment. Rollback online play, improved training features, tournament support, local competition, gallery material, achievements, and convenient access to the roster give this edition meaningful advantages over simply revisiting the original arcade version. It is especially appealing to retro fighting enthusiasts, while newcomers curious about Neo Geo history will find an entertaining example of how wonderfully unconventional the genre could be. awesome
Very good game , the reimagined are great!!
