You play as a student of magic in a turn based MMORPG, as the chosen one you must defend the Spiral against forces of darkness. Despite being marketed towards a younger audience Wizard 101 offers an interesting story, engaging gameplay, and a truly unique style while being an accessible introduction to the MMORPG genre. F2P only allows you to experience a small portion of the game, at a point you will be required to subscribe to their membership to proceed to new areas and quests. I recommend it as the game is still being updated and supported to this day, I just wish they would allow non-member players to experience more of the game. I've played this game since I was a kid, everything from the music, to the art style, and even the feeling of unlocking a new spell just makes this game worth playing.

The best game to ever exist with the worst customer support. Don't mess up or you'll regret it forever.
wizard 101 :drools:
Kingisle's tried everything in it's power to turn me off from this and they still haven't broken me. Afraid I'm ride or die 'til the sun explodes, which'll probably happen before this stops getting updates. God, I wish I knew how to quit you.
ok
Had no idea what I was doing the entire time. Kept getting new "items" that didn't show up anywhere in backpack. Backpack hotkey was disabled at first. Someone tried to help me out by giving me tons of stuff. I accepted the trade, and then have no idea where it is or how to use it... their messages explaining how to use it consisted mostly of "..." because of chat filter. Not sure how people play this game, but oh well.
best game I've ever touched in my life
I've played this game since 2012. sunk at least 2 Grand in it total since I was 8 years old. Sorry to my parents. I don't care about the paywall cause I'm not a whiny ♥♥♥♥♥ like most people who write reviews are. I love the game, love that the "greedy company" has never given up on it, after all these years they're still working on it. My advice to you is, buy a year membership, lock the ♥♥♥♥ in and get the most out of it. you can play this game endlessly and there is so much to do and people to meet.
if my 2009 me could see me know, the subscription is a bummer but nonetheless, this game is verry fun especially if you have a healthy dose of nostalgia
