Let me explain current the feeling of playing this game like this: boil 10-day-old shi--t in a pot and then take a deep breath of it. The servers are laggy, you get disconnected every 10-15 minutes, the economy is completely ruined (someone starting from scratch can never progress without buying BGL), you can't play the game for 6 hours due to unscheduled random server maintenance, and especially if you get unfairly banned, support doesn't care at all and your account is sent straight to kingdom come. If you say, "I have plenty of time to waste and I love throwing my time in the trash" boil shi--t in a pot, but don't play this game.

I will never forget the memories i had on this game, taught me a valuable lessons in life. Building connections, Betrayal, heck it even opened my eyes how people value relationships and how far they’re willing to go when money is involved. If you've experienced it, you know. Other than that its been a fun ride. You will be miss prime GT. o7

The server is really terrible. Every time I try to log in, I keep getting ‘error connecting.’ Why does it seem so hard for you to update your servers, dear developers? Haven’t you at least made money from this game? Why is it so difficult to upgrade the servers, or to deal with bot spammers and auto-clicker farmers? Then what’s the point of having moderators in your game? Are you even capable of managing this game? Just sell the game to another developer if you can’t even handle a sandbox game like this. Such a strange developer—holding onto the game but never making any real improvements to it.

absoultely NOT worth it to play anymore in 2026 stay away and run as far as you can. I am saying this as someone that has sunk 3000 hours in game within the past 10 years of playing and im giving them a year or two tops for it to shut down, especially that recently they announced that the steam and ubi connect version is going to be delisted/discontinued in December. that's not a good look gng...wat is going on....(spoiler alert theyre probably losing money) their support is also incredible levels of ass so dont even bother if you wanna recover your childhood account or something. honestly with the game being dead and empty is because I think because we've all grown up and its only natural that the game focuses more on making profits (especially with rmt and the bots) as we all dont have the time to actually trade and socialize and among many other things we used to do. we're never getting 2017-2018 peaktopia anymore. people dont trade and worlds are not populated anymore. the community isnt any better either as all they focus on is getting rich in game and no one really engages with others anymore, especialy given that most players are indonesian so expect to run into language barrier issues; and it's also just a money laundering scheme in indonesia lmaooooooo. (...i say this as i am an indonesian myself so please dont take this the wrong way. xenophobia is also hella weird btw and im looking at yall weirdos that do this towards us in game) though id like to note not all players and im sure a few would hang but its pretty rare. nobody cares anymore no matter how much ubi abu dhabi is now focusing on Growtopia full time and actively trying to fix it, this game wont survive and last. there are no new players coming in. ingame economy has hyperinflated to insane levels and youd need to buy a bgl for like a buck to get by and the rest is just brainrot profiting. the new horrific ui update wont pull in new generations of players to appeal to either and it is genuinely so ass to navitage through with it. its all just us who came back after years of not playing and see what are the half assed new updates that they give for us to keep on playing. ...thats if you stick around. i def wont also have i mentioned its bought and ruined by ubisoft. i think i have. but humor me. where are my seth and hamumu truthers 💔💔💔💔💔🥀🥀🥀💔💔💔🥀 (i genuinely hope theyre doing well) in conclusion; RUN. dont even start fresh. ....unless youre unemployed i guess? it can be pretty dopamine inducing and hella brainrotty
