About
Wizard Shrimp™ is a bullet-hell, roguelite game where you play as a Shrimp who is inexplicably also a Wizard?!
Battle your way out of a slimy swamp, escape amethyst caves, before climbing the Mushroom Wizard's Tower to defeat the final boss.
Collect upgrades and power ups along your quest to become the most powerful Shrimp this world has ever seen!
Gain Krill points to power up your Shrimp and take on the game at harder difficulties in the Cauldron!
Pixel art graphics are accompanied by a modern soundtrack that mixes digital and analogue sounds, embracing naturalistic samples.
Choose your own path out of each area with a unique randomly generated tile system. Leverage your tiles to your tactical advantage by putting a campfire after an enemy encounter. Or say "f*** it" and put down only enemy tiles up until the boss, gaining the most amount of power possible but with a higher risk of death!

love just about everything about this game. the gameplay is fun and the main gimmick of making your own path is really fun, i love the style of the game, and the upgrade system is great. I do have a few issues, though. 1. take this with a huge grain of salt - but melee attacks are far, far weaker than the staff's ranged attacks. on my winning attempt of the base mode, I may have upgraded melee once. I might have pressed F a total of maybe 5 times. maybe I havent minmaxed on melee enough, though. 2. some upgrades are absolutely ridiculous, while others actively harm you. take for example piercing + bouncing. these two, along with pretty much any healing upgrade shredded through anything before anyone could deal any damage that didnt get almost immediately healed. black hole is also a little busted, but it honestly pales in comparison to piercing + bouncing. on the other hand, homing bullets just kills you. if your staff isnt fully automatic - homing bullets will 100% kill you. trident is also pretty useless, but maybe thats because by the time it started appearing more frequently, I've already decided melee was weaker than the ranged option. 3. I would also really like it if the shrimp got some animations that made their movement feel more natural, not a huge deal though. besides a few outliers, though, its a great time! if you want a challenge, just dont mix piercing and bouncing. loved the credits. the fact this game has under 100 reviews made me want to make pretty much the only long winded review ive ever written on here LOL. TL;DR -- amazing underrated game, piercing + bouncing OP homing bad, buy it.

It is a decent bullet hell game, however not without flaws. I would get rid of path building sequence completely, it's just annoying.
Very enjoyable game, simple enough but pretty fun. Love the shrimp
Screw the haters this game is based as hell. It was made with pure passion and love and it shows.
I played this game for half an hour and it kicked my ass. Super fun tho, would recommend if you want a fun challenge for a bit. I plan on playing more in the future, and had a great time losing, which is more than I can say for a lot of games
C'est incroyable je vous jure pépite
i would recommend this
This game is great. It's clearly a passion project and it shows. Solid learning curve as you figure out items and builds. A friend bought this for me expecting the game to be dumb, but the joke's on him -- It's dumb AND fun as hell!
i love this game. its realy fun to play, alot of replayability, i know that game is still in development so i dont expect much from it, still this is fire
This is a great rouge lite that is a real blast to play, though I do have to say that I would like to see an endless mode which is in the works as I want more.
