It's what you know of VRSE on Google Cardboard but now on a real HMD. Video quality not the best, as it was made for Cardboard, but still an improvement of course. Vive controllers are implemented well and UI looks nice and is easy to navigate. Video's can be streamed as well if you have a decent connection, or downloaded if you don't want to risk buffering. I recommend the U2 - Songs of Innocence clip, which is done very well.
Impossible to stream in real time because the videos are too big (understandable) but here's the kicker: to download the videos you can't leave the app while it downloads or it loses all progress! Which means you have to leave it sitting there to let the videos download, can't be doing anything else in VR for a long time while it downloads. Whose idea was that? If they fix the video downloading it will be a good place to get VR content, but until then I have to give a thumbs down.

Download is not working. Streaming is working, but is very slow. I've a 100Mb/s internet line. Meh. :/
A good software for short movies and documentations. Can't say if it's good or bad, because the quality of the uploaded scenes and videos so far reach from bad to good. But decide for yourself. The software itself is good! + Easy to navigate + clearly arranged + simple + videos can be streamed (no download necessary)
Buffer Simulator 2016
Downloaded this for the Mr Robot live VR simulcast. 3 mins in it showed the buffer circle for 4 mins then died with an error. I quickly checked my network/router/PC before jumping back in before the stream closed down. Less then 1 minute in the same happened. Within in then thanked me for being part of the worlds largest VR premier experience... Well, thanks Within! I really am so glad I was part of that too! :D 0/10 - Buffercast 2016!! Would not buffer again! This app is pure turd. p.s. Should add I have a 60Mbps fiber connection.
What it is: Another little app that let you view a few 360 degree videos. What it is not: An app from a content provider exercising a rigid QA on the video material, knowing that this is the only service he can offer making you stay with him instead with whatevertube in the long run. What is bad: Imho the visual or technical quality of most real world vids is quite underwhelming. Depending on the vid you have areal artefacts (probably where the camera hardware has been), blurry scenes, the scaling changes multiple times in a single video, you hover above the ground or the ground is up to your knees, you can see stitching artefacts, low frame rates or they throw classical cinematic cutting effects in your face. What annoys me most is that you effectively not allowed to move while watching. When you move your head the video shifts with it. This is even true when you sit very straight and just turn your head (probably because you don't turn your head around the centre of the display but around the centre of your head). What is good: There are two computer generated videos. When your are curious, start by watching “Evolution of Verse”. When the quality of this one is not up to your standards, you may safely exit this application at once. In case you want more I recommend you ask a friend to duct tape you to the armrests of your chair and start watching “Catatonic”. The application itself is basically a big menu, letting you choose the vid you want to watch. It also gives the you the option to stream or download stuff. You can queue multiple downloads. The setting for this a lake (here it is safe to move your head). The app itself just works. Bottom line: It's free and it has no ads. Giving thumbs down to free stuff just feels not right.
It used to work but now it seems to be a abandoned-ware. ONLY BLACK PIXELS AROUND, NOTHING IS DISPLAYING ! ?!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALLO, SOMEONE ?
4/10
Video content looks cool for what there is but stream is just too slow. I would 100 percent recomend this if it had an option to download the videos WITHOUT running the app so i could do other stuff then watch them all.
