[h1]Synopsis[/h1]
Witch Academy H is an adventure RenPy visual novel.
[h1]Story[/h1]
This is an Isekai story. You are in a world with magic attending the Witch Academy.
[h1]Gameplay[/h1]
The game starts off in Spanish. The Options selection is in the middle, four down or four up. You can change the language to English from there. Somethings get lost in translation. Upload is load. Some things have both English and Spanish, others are untranslated (like the Gallery)
Once you start the game you name your character. As you make choices in the games you will be notified of how your stats change. The story is inconsistent, being an Isekai story. You have your own house, you bought with your own money being the main one.
The first day you are given prompts to do things. Starting on the second you have to select objects. The switch in interface may be a bit confusing. When you exit your room you will go to the map. You can see the locations, but there is no hint of what they are. It would be nice if the name of the location popped up when you hovered over it, or if it was on the map.
The game is [b]WAY[/b] too grindy. The maximum amount you can earn is $300 per job and you have to raise your Intelligence 40 points to do that and the maximum you can raise your Intelligence is 2 points at a time. The first book you have to buy is $5,000. I was at 87 days when I finished all of the scenes. Doing things is also all over the place. Somethings you can do multiple times in a day, like work or go to the Library. Other things you can do once, like increasing your magic power, again with the grind, you have to get to 250 and you can only get 5 points a day.
There are four different women that you can have scenes with. They all require you to grind out stats. It is possible to complete the game without obtaining all of the scenes. Fortunately the game doesn't end and you can grind out any missing scenes.
[h1]The Gallery[/h1]
The Gallery is accessed from the title menu. You can only view the scenes that you have unlocked in the game. There are six total scenes.
[h1]Final Verdict[/h1]
Way too grindy. The game should be a half hour and a quarter of the price. The art is great, but the price and the grind can't be overcome.
