For this game, I have to give a very poor evaluation. This game could have been done even better. It doesn't have Simplified Chinese, and secondly, the combat impact is very poor. In the early stage, A suddenly emitted a white light, so was it afraid that it wouldn't blind my eyes? The character model is also very poor, it's not worth wasting time on this game。
Not worth $20... A decent enough solo project, however asking for $20 is too much. This feels like an early access title with janky combat and big empty spaces. The first 30 minutes are spent running from point A to point B, then back to A. Don't spend money on this.
Windscape is a bit of a mess. It's a low poly first person brawler, basically trying to be Skyrim on a McDonalds frycook budget. And you get exactly what you'd expect from that, a clunky incomplete train wreck. First person action RPG adventure games should be an obvious winner, but it turns out some degree of game development skill and talent is needed after all! Despite not being in Steam Early Access (where this arguably belongs), the game is missing features and is apparently incomplete. Due to the lack of meaningful progress from the developer, it's unlikely the game will be completed at all, yet the developers reprehensively have their hand out for money for an incomplete game. This is a good reason for gamers to avoid this. On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. Unfortunately there's a number of other technical defects and shortcomings which contribute to the game being difficult to recommend to gamers. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the 1990s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. The game assets are fairly mediocre/low quality, in some places they appear mismatched... Ultimately the quality of these assets, and thus the overall visual quality is lower than average, and low quality always makes for a less than optimal gaming experience. The "human" models are so ugly it's nightmare fuel... they really do look horrible. Notch at least had the right idea with Minecraft... if you can't do graphics, don't try. They really did try here, and the result was a disaster. While not necessarily a deal breaker, the game does lack polish and a few elements are a little clunky/unsmooth, this is still rough around the edges. There's also some reports of bugs which may result in a negative user experience. Your mileage may vary on this. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The game never really caught on with the millions of gamers on Steam, with a very low peak player count close to launch, and then just a handful of players launching this game every couple of days. This is undoubtedly caused by factors such as those raised in this review. It's always helpful with buying decisions to consider how popular and successful the product is, and unfortunately while this did accumulate a few participation trophy reviews, overall, people just aren't using it. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? Windscape has the completely delusional, utterly insane price of $20 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games. Yeah, TWICE the price of the Skyrim game they're trying to rip off so badly here. Is this a joke? Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. For comparison, the $20 asking price for this game could get you games like "Age of Empires IV", "New World" or "Detroit: Become Human". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this.
I won't be refunding the issue, I trust the developers to fix it. The first mission was essentially bugged. I made a potion, but the game didn't work. The dialogue options were the same, the gates in the courtyard were closed, and the game was unplayable. I'll change my review if they fix it.
No, it's not finished and feels that way. Skip it, there's so many better and this one is abandoned.
Good Game, has a view bugs and the ending is pretty bad...
游戏完成度低,不过可以给好评支持一下
