Right now, I can't recommend this game. The world is very small and there are zero quests (well, there's one paid membership quest). I love quests in RuneScape, they're my favorite piece of content. Without free quests to demonstrate the quality of this game's quests, there's 0 incentive to play, grind, and consider membership.
This game looked really interesting because of how much I've played Runescape in the past. I've been looking for a game like this for a while, but when I was dropped into the (small) world, I didn't expect there to be absolutely no explanation of the mechanics/skills/abilities or quests. Shops and stalls stand completely empty which makes the world feel extremely empty and without life. I really wanted to like this game, but the first NPC I talked to gave me prompt that I needed to buy membership to do a quest. This game needs a lot of work before the devs start asking people for money. The game would benefit greatly with a tutorial or something similar to what you get with Runescape. Maybe if it had that then I wouldn't have been so offput by literally just dropping into the world with nothing at all except basic tools. There's no minimap which shows points of interest, so finding your way around isn't exactly the easiest thing in the world. I was looking to make some armor, so I found a mining area that required level 10. I went back to the starting zone and found another mining area that deterred me to begin with because of the level 13 enemies walking around. Enemies do not automatically aggro, which isn't explained at all. I made some bronze armor and went on a short aventure throughout the map. I was not impressed. Maybe I'll revisit it another time, but this game needs a little explanation for those of us who simply don't have time to figure out everything about the game on our own. Good luck devs, there's a good game under the hood. I just wish it held my hand for the first 15 minutes or so.

asking for a monthly sub for a game with maybe 1 day of content is diabolical.
This game is in early phase but offers some fun things to do, right now subscription is 5$ a month, which is totally fine. Also it works fine on Linux.
I played 10 seconds of the game, quit right away because i didnt think it would be for me, 5 seconds later i decided whats the harm in giving it 5/10 minutes of play time, those 5/10 minutes turned into about about 10 hours of gaming. Some of the reviews i semi agree with, that being it would be nice to have a tutorial, whether that be a few skills in 1 tutorial, (e.g how to mine then how to smelt it) (e.g attack then defence) ect ect. I am now 700 hours into the game, i've played just about everyday since starting and i ABSOLUTELY LOVE the game! people saying its only a days worth content or you can complete the game in a day are full of it! (depending on your definition of completing the game) for me completing it means maxing out all skills to level 100. Goodluck doing that. Now this game only has 2 developers and they work their asses off to push content out for this game, all the hate saying "the devs dont care, they arent around, money grab" because of a membership update, the servers dont pay for themselfs... there is plenty of content still to come, theres a road map, PVP updates, new skills, new weapons new bosses, guilds, raids, just to name a few. All these things will take time when there is only 2 developers. That being said, even if there wasnt a membership and the new areas that came out, im sorry to break it to you, but you wouldnt be able to do them in a day anyway, theres plenty to do as a F2P player before even thinking about membership. if you loved runescape, you will probably love this too, just dont go into the game expecting it to be runescape, yes you will be confused at first but there are plenty of people who will help you, when i started i had no help and i found my way around just fine, its very easy to pick up and VERY addicting. Plus theres fishing, who doesnt love to fish? i give this game a 10/10 all day everyday.
stinky
This game was going to be a cool intro into the space, and may have found its footing amongst the other semi-idle skill-grinding giants. Instead, they monetized fast and early when the game, even FREE was still "Wait until the devs add more to play". You can nearly 100% this in one evening. A great start to an ALPHA game, ruined by an attempt to cash in.
temu runescape
This was a good idea but no hope to grow into anything more than what it is currently. The membership was the last straw for me.... it came with the content (PAID) locked behind a higher level Mob and on top of that the "VIP section" is a more inconvenient version of every town in the game... it is literally the equivalent of getting a 33 cent tip as a waiter.... nothing would have been better. The second worst part is the community. Like every struggling game that is dying on the vine and has 10 - 200 players (200 being like 4+ alts each) rather than taking any sort of criticism, the defend the most ridiculous parts of the game and make themselves out as the b porn version of toxic discord. There is basically less than 20 active players per steam... this is an example of what they will die on the cross on in their Discord... Steam numbers are wrong... ROFL.... I would have more respect if they were to say... it's new... we're growing little but little... rather than THERE"S LOTS>>> when clearly there is not... The game itself is really barebones. It has decent mechanics... simple but effective crafting and gathering. Combat is easy with grind over complexity. Want to love it.... just can't.
