60+ outfits for the protagonist aside, this game wears its influences proudly - Silent Hill-style story, Resident Evil-style locations and puzzles, and (surprisingly) Parasite Eve-style combat. Add to that a very rewarding sense of progression, plenty of interesting unlocks, and one of the better New Game Plus experiences I've seen (harder difficulties with item and spawn randomizers), and this solo-developer-led effort is exceptional. I had a great time with it!
Wicked Seed is a solid gem. I have never really seen anything like the combat in this game I found it very unique and pretty fun, though I got a bit frustrated at times with it. The game looks fantastic, and every level you visit just looks great. There's a consistent quality to how everything is presented that really makes the whole thing feel polished. Whether you're in the first area or deep into the later stages, the visuals stay great the entire way through. The story's pretty straightforward but it works, and the whole mystery actually had me curious to see where it was going. The costumes were a surprising highlight for me though (♡˙︶˙♡), all actually high quality and fun to unlock just by exploring and doing challenges. Though I wish there were more to find and unlock naturally instead of buying or having to play through the story multiple times. Wicked Seed isn't without its indie jank, but the unique combat, intriguing mystery, great-looking levels, and quality costumes make it absolutely worth the <20 euro asking price (bᵔᵕᵔ)b
honestly the developer of this game is an awesome guy, the amount of care patches, quality of life since launch is amazing and even a low tier laptop player can enjoy this game, there are still some minor bugs, but i have zero doubt they wont be addressed in the near future. i have been addicted to the pit for the last 20 hours of my gameplay lol i have noticed some small things, once in awhile items will be bugged out and u cant pick them up, the biggest bug is that the floor 50 bosses with all the xp gear on, bestieary maxed out, is worth 73 million xp however the game can not seem to register more then 6 expedition lvl ups at a time, so litterly 55 million xp goes up in smoke. sorry i have been rambeling haha overal a fantastic game with a great developer its meant to be played many many times this game u can easily sink 60+ hours and i have no doubt there are players out there with over 200 hours banked.
its allot more fun then i expected and you get nice things along the way, good combat system. i thought it was only gonna be shooting but there is more to it then that,ya its fun i kinda got abit hooked on it.
NG+ and Randomizer Fun combat that actually lets you try different builds and utilize tactics Sexy costumes GG

A must play if you want to scratch that Parasite Eve itch. The Developer is passionate and not greedy.
favorite game this year easily
TLDR: It's a indie game that has potential but needs still a lot of work. Combat is wonky in some weird turn based action combat that is just amounts to move close to enemies, wait for attack, dodge, counter attack, then repeat. Game also suffers from not knowing if it wants to be a porn game or not.
