The game is good for what it is even though its in early access, so take the game with grain of salt and understand their will be glitches that are frustrating and makes you want to quit. If your interested in the game just buy it, if you want to wait awhile put it in your wish list.
The game has issues that need resolved. My mouse has to be inches to the right of the object i'm wanting to use it so not a good thing so your aim is off to.
I'm feeling compelled to leave a review of this game when I don't normally bother with writing them. First off, I started by playing the demo for about 2 hours and the first thing that I encountered that I didn't care for was the menu sound. Sound as in one singular loud obnoxious sound for all the menu interactions. I did end up turning it down but that also affected the in game sound effects from what I could tell. I did enjoy the demo however and decided to buy the game, so after downloading the full version I was surprised that the save wouldn't port over, and glad that I hadn't spent a great deal of time building up a base or doing anything substantial in the demo. After I started a new save I spent a good few minutes wondering why I couldn't cook raw meat in the campfire like I could in the demo. The furnace has the same functionality in both the demo and the full release so it was confusing that the campfire had been changed to only use recipes instead of keeping it like it had been. I would ask the dev to make it consistent to either the one way or the other. At this stage in our story I had a little base set up next to the fishermen's cottage and it is nice that he has a ice box that a fresh player can use when recourses are tight. I was starting to explore a little bit and found a set of double doors with a prompt to enter. I thought 'Oh maybe this is a starter dungeon!' No. I was creeping through the entrance hall and slowly peaked around the corner and found 3 extremely high level enemies. I immediately tried to flee through the entrance door but i couldn't leave the dungeon while in combat and promptly got steamrolled. But this didn't kill me. No with the mechanic in the game of spamming space bar if you go down to have a second chance to flee and retreat or reengage I was going to crawl to the door but it still registered as in combat, and the Nightmares do not deaggro. Every other enemy that this happened with later on did deaggro and the mechanic worked. So I thought in that moment that I had just lost my new shiny leather armor I had spent hours grinding for but the creatures would not kill my character, her health stayed well into the negatives the entire time and at some point it let me equip my wooden spear and stab multiple enemies to death while I was still negative health. I told this story because this set the mood for the rest of my playthrough to save often, watch for early access jank, and be way over geared for every encounter. I did learn later that the dev was kind enough to have the game autosave when entering a dungeon instance, but after learning to hit and roll, combat was a bit one note and feeling that I couldn't take any risks played a part in that. Of course after getting the steel armor nothing was really a threat anymore. The most fun I had with the game was after I had defeated two portal bosses and found notes to a scavenger hunt. Using my knowledge of the map that I had built up over the playthrough felt really rewarding, only to have the rug pulled out from under me when a quest giver sent me to kill the bosses again and was then told where to get each item. I did enjoy the game, got the dragon and built a house that I am fairly proud of, and I must say that this game has a lot of potential but I'm afraid they are reaching for too much as it is fairly obvious that there is a lot of placeholder content still. I hope that this project succeeds, truly, but it will most likely take many years before it becomes something of note. I'm not going to touch on the adult content, there are better reviews for that and this one is long as it is. Lastly I didn't care for the music track but that is a personal preference. I will however applaud the 'sit down to recover health and stamina' mechanic and I thought the item gravity well the player character has when collecting resources was neat.
for $34.99 this game kinda boring in so many ways. there seem to be not many content in this game what else is there to do beside building surviving fighting the monsters ? and it seem the only adult content we get is by LOSING. there really not much to do beside exploring. or crafting. if i was the game maker. i would make everything interactive similar to conan exiles. but for a 34.99$ game it get boring fast and im only 10hours into gameplay.
