White Mirror is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere. This shovelware platformer is presented in ultra lazy "minimalist" "art" due to laziness/lack of ability from the developer to come up with better graphics. Gameplay consists of controlling a mirrored character through various platformer obstacles, the challenge is enhanced by an obstacle on either side of the "mirror" blocking the character. When you think about it, that's more of annoyance than any kind of interesting gameplay mechanic. Speaking of annoyances, there's a lot of them here. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The first of these is the controls don't work properly... they're extremely buggy. Sometimes you won't jump. Sometimes you will jump without any keypresses at all. Sometimes you'll stop what you're doing and run endlessly to the left. You can't chain your jumps properly, you need to wait a second or so between jumps before you jump. It's evident no testing was ever done and that the developers have never played a platformer before. But why let them stop this being dumped on Steam? There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features extremely lazy, minimalist "art", of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. While the game is currently free, it's bad, very bad. One more serious problem... The game contains stock/store assets/libraries/packages, but the "developer" here hasn't credited the people who actually did the work for the game. One example is the use of FMOD for Unity. That package absolutely requires certain crediting and other attribution which isn't present here. This breaches the license agreement the developer signed for the use of those assets. Claiming credit for the work of others as well as breaching software licenses is highly unethical.

Really good platformer you can try to speedrun.
Petit jeu très sympa au gameplay mélangeant Ibb&Obb dans une ambiance à la Limbo, pour l'instant un seul niveau mais qui montre qu'il y a du potentiel pour en faire un vrai jeu complet !
super!
Before I played White Mirror, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
