White Bridge

At first glance this game looks simple but once you start getting into it the complexity and depth are real. This game will be a blast to beat again and again.

Another great game from Wolfs Studio, also this one is quite different from the others. It is an RPG, but you are one character the entire game - Bob, a goblin, who was given some land by the kingdom of White Bridge as reparations for the slaughter of your people. Bob spends most of his time on errands for townsfolk, but depending on your interactions with them, your outcomes will vary. You can build up various character stats, and doing so will improve your ability to interact with people. Encounters aren't random (thankfully), and you will battle your way through the game. There is mining, farming, fishing as well...and 4 different endings, depending on your choices. I played them all through just to see what happened. Great game and highly recommend!

Another great game

Well, it certainly IS different from the typical RPGs. The only limit here is the limits of the RPG maker engine. Skill checks that locks you out from some progressions keep things interesting. Grindy at times but what RPG isn't? But be careful with the choices you make since some of them has one way consequences without any way to undo it... unless you reload a save that is.

So far, I have not been able to put this game down since it's launch yesterday other than the occasional meal or conversation with friends. Even then I find myself talking about White Bridge. I have eight hours in and love every second. You can see the creator is truly passionate about this project with so many hidden gems from the start if you pay attention. Keep this up and i'll be a life long supporter.

Old school turn based RPG goodness! Unlike a lot of RPG's these days, this one went back to the roots of the RPG genre. Instead of a party of adventurers, this game only consists of one character, Bob, Since Bob is the only character we control, it feels a lot more personal. The game has interesting and often humorous interaction with the NPC's. The statistics system and sheer amount of gear availability are strong points of the game. Crafting and alchemy are some of the best you'll see in any RPG Maker game. I finished the game in 20 hours. That's a decent amount of play time for such a low price. If I had finished all of the side quests, I could have added 2 or 3 more hours of playtime. Overall, this game is a great value, If you are reading this until now, put this in your cart right away and buy it! Don't think about the overdue water bill, just buy this and all your problems will go away!

Delightful game, the grind is highly addictive. 11 hours in and still haven't found chickens or a cow, but I will keep searching until I do!
