I review this type of game for fun as part of the "walking simulator fan club" but this one was a complete dud. Uninteresting, bland, the puzzles tricky and repetitive, the story ghastly. Neh.
Incredibly disappointing game. The localization is really really bad for English speakers. Half of the dialogue doesn't make sense to the point where it's kind of hard to figure out what's going on. The voice acting (specifically the male voice acting) is really awkward and stilted. The game is FULL of invisible walls that halt your movement for no discernible reason, Also, it's very easy to wander outside the bound of the game and end up in places you're not supposed to be or falling off the map entirely. A lot of the direction of the game seems arbitrary and like you have no real reason to push forward, nor is there a next logical place to go. The game is also very buggy. The physics cause things to jump around or shake and I ran into a lot of weird glitches - like, for some reason, the first few times I tried to load this game up, my character was just constantly jumping?? Not sure why that happened. Not sure why it stopped happening. I would, unfortunately, avoid this game unless a LOT of work was put into revamping the English dialogue localization, reworking the maps, and fixing the bugs. That, or just keep an eye out for the developers next game, where hopefully they learn from these mistakes!

The developer has now removed this game from Steam, so I guess this review is rather moot. However, I had it in my library for a while before I got around to playing it, so for completeness here's my thoughts. I'd give this game 4/10. It's not terrible, but the story line is rather fragmented and difficult to follow; it can often be difficult to know what to do next to progress the story as there's very little guidance; and the grabbing mechanism is so bad, that I had to give up playing at the end and watch the last 5 mins of the story on YouTube. It's a shame really because the graphics and ambience of the story are pretty good. It's similar to but better than Dear Ester (which I just got bored with) but with some puzzles to solve along the way. If you want a similar but far superior game try Ethan Carter or even Ether One. If the Developer wanted to put the effort in, I think this could be reworked into a good game.
