About
You play as a young man dealing with the aftermath of your father's death. After the funeral, you receive an invite to return to your childhood home to visit your mother's best friend, Monica and her two daughters, whom you grew up with. It has been several years since you've seen them, so the game centers around your quest to re-build these old relationships, forge new ones and deal with everything life has to throw at you, including the fallout from your deceased father's will.

In addition to the three ladies you're staying with, there'll be plenty of other characters in play (friends, foes, neighbors, stalkers and many more) and a mystery to solve, as you realize that someone is secretly trying to manipulate your decisions.

Where the Heart is" is a choice-driven adult Visual Novel (VN) with thousands of still images in addition to fully animated, multi-POV lewd scenes. There are eleven women to pursue in season 1 (with additions in subsequent seasons), countless decisions to make (ALL of which matter) and realistic characters and dialog, including lots of humor.

Some characters will be easier/harder to "crack" and some relationships will be a slow-burn romance (or corruption) while others will be a quick passionate affair (or rejection). Will you focus on one girl or try to pursue as many as possible? Each girl in the game has their own distinct personality and back-story and they will dynamically react to your previous decisions and also react to your relationships with other women.

Season 1 contains at least 13 hours hours of gameplay, that you can replay numerous times to experience different paths and girls. Where the Heart is: Season 2, and future seasons, will continue the story.

Typical and predictable story. Not bad, not good. Art is pretty meh, and the models are mixed. The ugliest one in the game calls herself a goddess and her close ups are creepy. It would be nice to see some graphic upgrades in the next season. Two upsides: There's more content here than a lot of other games with a single season. Your choices don't heavily lock down what happens next. Even when deciding if you want to pursue a girl, they give you multiple chances to opt in or out.
First off, Where the Heart Is is a hilarious game. The characters and dialog and situations all work together. For banter, it's hard to beat Katie. This is the kind of trash-talking I grew up with. It's how we related to one another as teenagers. She's not the only funny one. Lily is very funny in a completely different and unexpected way. Visually, the scenes are very detailed. And there's a number of hot scenes in this game. You've got
subs calling you sir
,
milfs calling themselves Mommy and you their naughty little boy
,
a whirlwind romance with a (mostly) lesbian exhibitionist
,
revenge deepthroat and anal while she begs for it
, and all kinds of other fun stuff. Because this game is fun. And pretty hot. It looks a bit weird. I got used to it. Close-ups look awesome. The gallery shows 3 scenes that I didn't see, but allows me to play them there. Exiting the game requires you to go to the main menu first. This is a pain in the ass. I liked the music, and I didn't have any problems with the sound.
6/10, the storyline is alright f you actually pay attention to it. The largest, most glaring drawback is the (WAY) overuse of the femdom material. It detracts from an otherwise fun game, the game would be SO MUCH better without it!!! I hope it gets removed before the next season, it almost makes this game a swing and a miss.
As a AVN this writing is beyond almost anything else out there. The dialog is hilarious and real. as well as the characters I laughed out loud so much at the banter between the MC and Katie it was the joy to read. The relationships between the characters is believable and creates a perfect chemistry to aid the story's path. Kudos to the writer(s) and anyone that helped them especially to the thoughts behind Katie.
This was a really fun game. While the story wasn't super original, it was very well told. The characters are well written, interesting, and have a unique sense of humor. The renders are very good and the women are mostly hot. This is also one of the funniest games I've played. <spoiler>The whole "basement" scene had me in tears, I had to stop reading and go get a drink. That in combination with the utter gem that is Lily and her brilliant writing, made this scene as memorable as I have ever played, well done!</spoiler> I'm not sure if it will read like that for everyone, but it hit me just right. As a counter to Lily, <spoiler>Wanda was written as such a ginormous c*nt, I couldn't even take the time to pursue her path. I just wanted nothing to do with her.</spoiler> There is a lot of content here and the story felt complete while ending on cliffhanger, so I can't wait for season 2. I got excited when the end credits said season 2 due in 2025 and was a little disappointed the target bumped to July 2026. I'll be waiting eagerly.
Easy to follow story! Addictive character/model designs (especially at the modeling agency, (start idea to reuse the reject model designs as background characters). There is a good amount of chapters that you can easily fly through but with some decent decision making you can literally sit there for hours going through all the options and storytelling elements.
This AVN is a hidden gem with replay ability. Looking forward to the next season. If you prefer story over the constant.. stuff. You'll enjoy it. Great music too! 9/10
excellent art, excellent erotica
This is a good one! Trust me!!
