Take it for what it is. couple issues? yeah. game breaking? no. there was a time where, i had to totally back to menu and reset my graphics to fix an issue, and re enter then they weren't there anymore. it had stutters loading the town as you come in, but what games don't have a little loading stutter? the game play was relatively smooth, ads doesn't reduce sensitivity so that's a little to get used to. but for a day one early access game this really isn't bad. inventory management is an issue at first if you like to explore and loot everything... but i have played way worse that had much better reviews. so ignore the reviews and just decide if you're willing to give it a shot or wait for more patches that are sure to come soon.
Overall, I like what the game will become with some reworking so I'd recommend it at $10 to $15. Not sure what's up with the opening animation of the game if anyone else's just cuts short then goes to lobby screen. I like the zombies, especially the busty ones lol, they kind of run like Days Gone zombies I don't like that they can see you from half a mile away and run with almost no foot sounds I like how fast you can run and the parkour, but it would be nice to add dodge roll, as of now you can't jump onto wagons easily or climb any thing at all to get away from zombies. The text is hard to see, its either too small or blends in with the background and changing the settings does not help Settings not able to save. When entering any building the screen gets way to dark There is a constant water sound effect while riding horse Equipped gun disappears forever when getting on horse or if dropped, I was using xBox controller which is probably why. Controller works fine enough but could be a lot better unfinished quest- come back - Zombies respawn but guns etc never do. Never got past find the bag mission, ran around for an hour and never saw anything. Journal should contain past convos Horse should have a saddle bag inventory There is no kicking when bare handed, only punch??? Couching does nothing, no stealth aim assist would be nice but not a must no lasso Some of my graphic issues may be from my specs but I've tweaked with settings and still experienced tearing.

i can only say: dont buy this crap!
Looks like a labor of love in a semi-raw state and EA probably allows for funding to further build it out. From what I read is two brothers that have been working on this for some time. I like the concept, it's playable, there are bugs, but there's a discord. Going to keep messing with it, was having a good time.
It’s actually a pretty cool game; I like the setting and the concept behind it. Unfortunately, it may have been released into Early Access a bit too soon. The minor bugs here and there are perfectly acceptable for an Early Access title. However, the graphical glitches—especially during the rain—detract from the atmosphere that currently drives the game's appeal. Still, I have high hopes for the game and look forward to the developers continuing to work on it and fixing the issues. Because if they do, it has the potential to become a really good game.
Not worth it at this point.
garbage
To edit this review the devs are atleast very active in fixing the issues. I will update my ratings as the game gets better no problem. People keep saying it is like red dead. It is not even close to the caliber of game red dead is so do not buy thinking it is. The game is in rough shape right now. I am not even sure if the devs actually have played the game . If they did i am sure they would have not released it just yet. Just doing the first mission was a struggle, Really make a bag look like the rocks next to it c'mon man, make it stick out add a glow behind it or something or make the bag a different color. Forget about doing the second and building on the plot of land they give you. It does not even know you built on it to complete the mission. If you are unlucky enough to die you will lose all of your stuff you are carrying. No body to pick it up from. If you brought a horse and you go back well now you have 2 horses in the same spot because you spawn at the start but the horse you took does not. Good luck getting them both back you will be hoofing it back on foot to get the other one. Really i just wish the devs would have played the game at least one time to see all the issues . You would think they would have found a little time to play through the campaign to see it is all messed up instead of just coding it and releasing. For 18 bucks i will keep it and hope all the issues will get worked out. They got my cash and i hope they fix it. It is an ok game to a point but will be better when it all gets fixed. It will never be a rockstar game like red dead but it could be fun at some point
not sure how but it got worse after the playtest, im not returning yet i want to see how fast the patches come. but it if you wana roll the dice with me :)!
