About
I've come to the realization that there's so much about my own country that I don't know. In light of this, I've developed a game to share my journey of discovering Ukraine. It's Jigsaws with lot of useful features. Through this interactive experience, I hope to offer insights into the rich culture, history, and beauty of our country. I hope it will be interesting not only for jigsaw puzzle lovers;)
I want to keep this game free and I will update it from time to time with new pictures and features
Multiple puzzle pieces selection
3 different Cutouts shapes
Rotation and Sorting features
Useful Zoom and Magnifier tool
Customizable background color
Wide cutout range
I used CC0, self generated content or pictures I have permission from the author.
I will try to deal with local photographers to provide more quality pictures and facts of my country.
Also, you can check my other puzzle game (which uses the same engine) Master of Pieces - Jigsaw Puzzles!
Enjoy game and share your thoughts! Peace!

A very kind and beautiful game about a beautiful country. There's so little kindness in the world these days😢💔
At the time of writing (i.e. the day the game came out), this game had 39 pictures (not "a dozen or so" as claimed in another review.) This developer is quite adept at these games and, as usual, chose beautiful images... in this case, "closer to home" as Graphium Studio is of Ukrainian origin, so not always seen through pink-tinted glasses. The current images are divided into 3 categories: a) 12 in "Historical Art"; b) 12 in "Visions of Ukraine"; c) 15 in "Through the Eyes of AI". I like the fact that each high quality image has a brief description... often enough to make me want to search for more information on the web. The game has many of their usual features, and I could be overly critical by pointing out a few things that I think would make the game better; but they did a better job than I ever could, so there's always room of improvement. But then, keep in mind that it's free AND quite versatile. I was happy to add this game to my library, and there is, hopefully, even more content to come in the future. Because you can download the completed images (and without the piece outlines), many of those make great wallpapers. (PS: next time, can I choose in which folder I'm downloading them? LOL) Update: I gave the other reviewer an award for updating their review 8o)
Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, banal AI generated content.
"Welcome to Ukraine" is a basic kind of "asset flip", essentially a simple Unity jigsaw puzzle template with some images either stolen off the internet or, as the warning tells us, generated AI slop. Truly, if there's anything that's the opposite of creativity in game development, it's the intellectual and creative bankruptcy going on here. At least they're not trying to scam money out of gamers for this... yet. It's just a basic jigsaw puzzle, there's hundreds of these you can play on mobile phones or in your web browser. Steam is not here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If it can be done in a web browser, it doesn't belong in your Steam library. And the AI slop... never acceptable. As mentioned, this features really godawful, "wrong" looking AI slop instead of genuinely and sincerely created game assets. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating real game assets or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision. AI slop sticks out like a sore thumb... and it comes across as insulting. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too, and that's glaringly obvious here. This is "free" enough, at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
It's a puzzle game with a couple dozen photos where you can choose the shape and amount of pieces. edit: Sorry to other reviewer guy who is calling me out -- I didn't realize there were multiple categories. But I just wanted to throw a thumbs up at the game because it is Ukraine. There is not much to say about it, but I am glad it exists. It has some lovely photos and it will serve a good utility for people to hang on their profiles etc. Welcome to Steam, Welcome to Ukraine!
