Taking place on the unluckiest day of the year, the protagonist and his/her friends get an invite to "The Beach". Mistaking this for a private beach party, they are sorely disappointed when instead of everyone being able to have fun, they have to instead search for three parts of a missing sword.

Another crazy addition to the Welcome To... Chichester saga. I still think this would make a good anime series (I want to see the frying pans and bricks fly!) This short and sweet VN can be understood as a standalone, even though it's part of a larger series. +Pros+ +I love the intro sequences these games have, this intro had a great song and visuals that reminded me of summer fun +The slapstick humor is crazy and silly but still fun +An anime-style adventure +Choose the gender of the protagonists (male or female) +Choices and three different endings +Achievements -Cons- -Though I enjoy this kind of adventure and humor (crazy, slightly violent, kinda typical anime slapstick) I recognize it isn't for everyone -It's short 1 and a half hours can get you all the endings/achievements, etc. however, the price is low so you just need to be aware it's short. Though it may not be for everyone, it also shouldn't be easily overlooked. This VN may be on the short side, but it's got that classic anime style humor with flying bricks and whatnot so there's fun to be had. The ending was a little stereotypical but I liked how the choices changed the ending dialogue. It was a fun hour and a half.

Just started this story and I trying to figure out the rule book, flying bricks, sledgehammers.
Generic Chichester series game, ridiculous story and annoying to play through.
Yılın en şanssız gününde geçen hikayenin kahramanı ve arkadaşları "Kumsal"a davet edilir. Bunu özel bir plaj partisi sanıp, herkesin eğlenebilmesi yerine kayıp bir kılıcın üç parçasını aramak zorunda kaldıklarında büyük bir hayal kırıklığına uğrarlar.
Before I played Welcome To... Chichester OVN : The Beach, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
SÜPER
Never played an interactive novel before. Although this is a spin-off from a series I've never played, I found the writing and characters engaging. For more niche curation, follow me at: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/27440015-CSH-Picone/
Welcome To... Chichester OVN 1 : The Beach is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which presents the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This e-book was slapped together with the godawfully bad RenPy Visual Novel/E-Book construction kit, so just like no professional writing took place here, no professional game development took place either, it's just a product of filling out templates in the construction kit. Visual novels/e-books are tedious at best... imagine the best novel you ever read, be that Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy or 2001: A Space Odyssey or Twilight (if you have terrible taste in literature), but then translate that to a format where the words dribble out and you have to click your mouse every time you wanted to read the next sentence, instead of just turning the pages. You'd think it was garbage. Now imagine that experience, but with much worse writing (because if these guys could write professionally, they'd be published authors and this would be on shelves in bookstores, and they wouldn't have to pay Valve $100 to self-publish this on Steam), and you have your average Steam e-book. Despite being "free", the author could only attract 4 concurrent readers of this e-book at the same time... which actually makes it one of the most popular e-books from this failed author. That's pretty embarrassing, but not as embarrassing as the sheer cringe that composes the content for this garbage. You can get better quality books and comics for free online or from public libraries, or from bookstores for a fraction of the price of this "game". Steam isn't a comic book store, neither is it Netflix, it's for games. Your gaming rig is not a Kindle. It's impossible for me to recommend things to PC gamers that aren't really games.
Online Stalking and Harrassment
The developer has started stalking me, delivering personal attacks and is attempting to publicly cyberbully and intimidate me by posting hitpiece videos and articles. Why? Because I wrote an honest and frank assessment about an objectively bad and failed product. It's an objective failure rejected by gamers, for the reasons I supplied in my accurate review. Certainly, the hitpieces the stalker/developer has linked up in response to some of my reviews are false and misleading, but cyberbullies don't care about facts, they just want to intimidate and silence the truth. This behavior from the developer is utterly unacceptable, and is a chilling attempt to intimidate and stifle reviewers. Now, you can look at the objective facts of my review, and then have a look at how this reviewer is attacking and intimidating reviewers, and suddenly the overwhelming rejection of his craptastic Ren'Py asset flips makes a lot more sense. I will not be intimidated or silenced by stalkers and bullies.
