I Love this game!
Fairly interesting premise and mechanics. Sometimes the stitching got wonky and I couldn't get a good feel for it, but it was fun for what it was. The puzzles were simple but interesting to work through. The writing quality could use improvement - characters seemed disinterested and scattered in what they chose to focus on in certain situations. Maybe this is because this is just a demo. There is a fair bit of exploring, although I couldn't understand some invisible barriers here and there that weren't properly communicated at all, making me guess where I could and where I couldn't fly. All in all, probably not my game (due to writing being meh and stitching not being my favorite thing in the world), but it's worth a try and a look at their kickstarter. Good luck!

Pros: very cute Very interesting concept and game play ideas, love the feeling of many things made of fabric, I wish it went further in places (some plants/animals seem to be made of fabric, or at least blend with fabric, while others look more like normal plants/animals for example) Colours are great Cons: runs really janky on my computer, which might be my computer or the game not yet fully optimised. (its a demo, I dont expect perfection). Sometimes hard to follow conversations without full focus as its not always clear without keeping track of names whos talking.
This game demonstrates how using the simple premise of thread, can lead to a very complex creation using natural pathing : The world is thread, the Npc's are moths and the hero and his acolyte have the power of re-threading the world. From there, you have a pretty huge oyster. I'm sure the creation was more complex than that, but wow, did it lead to a massively awesome world that feels natural and alive. In the story, you(a human?) and your father(a dragon that threads things with his tail) embark on a long journey to discover oneself and face what are those evil buggers that were surely not invited to the party, but are sure causing a ruckus! The "human" feels a little bit tacked on, for the attacks, skills, and abilities all belong to the dragon. But, if well used, could still lead to something interesting, only actually playing the game will let me know. And boy do I want to play that game, it's just so charming while challenging. Good points: The music, environmental sounds, abilities, etc: They are quite good, do their jobs quite well AND most importantly, you do not get tired of hearing any of them. The art style: Style... this game has it in SPADES, everything feels just so right within the theme of the game. Nothing clashes, or feels out of places style wise. Especially that bugger of an enemy that can cut your threads. Movement and Combat: From moving to threading, everything is pretty smooth and responsive. Combat is Bloody well done in an innovative way. The bad points: 1- When you return to the village, dark things are attacking. If you dash into the village, a talking scene starts, but you can find yourself having dashed into the damage zone. So while you are talking, you get death. 2- There's a bit a of guesswork as to what needs to be done, like how to actually get to Twill, that long stretch with so many blocked path was a bit unpleasant. 3- Typos: Minor, but some present, after saving Twill, she says: I didn't need you to saFe me. 4- IF the boss kills you, DO NOT make me go thru the intro that happens just before the start of the fight, every SINGLE TIME! Reenter the room and the fight starts after a second of two or a prompt could appear asking you to skip the into. Overall, great preview, 8/10, after all, an easily repeatable bug killed me.
Short resume: ♥ cute graphics ♥ amazing artworks ♥ pleasing soundtrack ♥ relaxing atmosphere ♥ good sneak peek into the story ♥ I like the fact that you don't have a real tutorial and you will get to know the moves when you really need them ◌ At the beginning the handling was a little bit of a struggle but it's super easy to learn ◌ It would be great if all people with which you can interact would have an avatar I also played Bastion and it was one of the most adorable games. I can see how they got inspired by it. I really like the demo and I hope they can fill this game with their successful kickstarter campaign with more updates or nice modes ♥
