About
Legend tells of a WEAPON MASTER who could master every weapon.
In his hands, even a simple tree branch could become deadly.
Armed with nothing but a single pencil, he could still fight his way out of the battlefield.
He does not merely use weapons — he himself is a weapon, capable of drawing out their ultimate potential.
One day, an amnesiac boy wanders into the forest where the next WEAPON MASTER is chosen.
Faced with relentless masters of countless weapons who attack without mercy,
what fate awaits the boy?

You are a boy who has lost his memories.
All that remains with you are your combat instincts and the crudest of weapons.
Within this endless forest dwell not only ferocious magical beasts,
but also other people.
Like venomous insects sealed within a jar,
you tear into one another, fighting for survival—
all to become the so-called “King of the Poison.”
WEAPON MASTER
You vaguely remember your name—Kiel—
and a younger sister who once depended on you.
Yet no matter how hard you try, you cannot recall why you are here.
To return to her side, Kiel will overcome any obstacle and escape this forest.
But he has no idea that he is already trapped
within a vast and sinister conspiracy…
In WEAPON MASTER, players trigger skills by combining interactive attacks between their main-hand and off-hand weapons.
Rather than overcomplicating combat with rigid skill commands,
the game uses just two attack buttons to weave endlessly varied combat patterns.
You can build the most agile style,
dodging through the battlefield like lightning.
Or you can create the tankiest build,
where simply being hit becomes a weapon against your enemies.
Or perhaps…
a style no one else has even imagined—
one that only you, a true WEAPON MASTER, can discover.
And once you clear WEAPON MASTER,
you will realize that the game has only just begun…

Protagonist: Kiel
He awakens in an unfamiliar forest.
Driven by pure survival instinct, he manages to stay alive.
His personality resembles that of a soldier—highly rational, disciplined, and slightly stubborn.
Despite being surrounded by danger, his top priority is to recover his lost memories.
When facing women, he experiences intense fear and anxiety.
He instinctively dodges and avoids all physical contact.
This fear is not simple “cowardice,”
but closer to deep-seated dread or a form of PTSD.

Reviews
Wave-based action game with manual dual-weapon combat and constant income of talent points, but held back by poor balance, weak gamepad support, and frustrating stun mechanics. Although the game doesn’t have “survivor” in its name, it still shares most of the genre’s core mechanics. The run is wave based, meaning you progress by defeating all enemies in each wave. The goal is to get as far as possible, since the location never changes and every run follows the same sequence of waves. The main difference lies in combat. You wield two weapons, one in each hand, and there is no auto attack or targeting so you use the left and right mouse buttons to attack with each weapon. You can hold the buttons for continuous attacks rather than clicking for every strike, but you cannot attack with both weapons at the same time. Gamepad support is incomplete. I was able to move and attack with one weapon, but aiming and second attack did not work. Each defeated enemy fills your experience bar. Once it is full, you are presented with the usual perk screen where you choose one of three random options. There is a wide variety of perks, such as a chance to trigger lightning strikes or increased defense and health. Some come with drawbacks, like smaller weapon size in exchange for more damage, or faster enemies that grant more experience. Picking the same perk again improves its effectiveness. Weapons are where the game becomes more interesting. You choose your starting pair before a run, but you are not locked into them. Since enemies use weapons just like you, they occasionally drop them when defeated. You can pick these up and store them in a small inventory, then equip them by throwing your current weapon and instantly replacing it with the next one in your inventory. Even better, the first time you pick up a weapon, it becomes permanently unlocked for future runs. The game features standard weapon types like swords, axes, and staffs, along with a few others, but each hand performs a different attack depending on the weapon. For example, one might lunge forward while another spins in place. Since these attack patterns are not clearly shown, you need to experiment to find what suits you best. Weapons are organized by type, with each new version offering better damage and sometimes an additional perk. Each weapon type has ten different weapons. To help you spot them, unique weapons sparkle on the battlefield, but there is no indicator pointing them out, so it is easy to miss them in the chaos of combat. You can also acquire armor pieces such as helmets, body armor, and boots, but they are much rarer and feel almost invisible. You often do not realize you have picked one up until you see it on the game over screen. Like weapons, once collected, they become available in future runs. In addition to weapons, each run rewards you with talent points, one for every level gained. Over time, these points accumulate and can be spent on various upgrades. Some improve basic stats like damage, defense, and speed, while others boost specific weapon types. Upgrades can be purchased multiple times, though their cost increases with each level. One essential upgrade is the level limit. Without it, you can only level up ten times per run. Runs include mini bosses at certain stages and a main boss every tenth wave. Bosses are extremely powerful and can eliminate you instantly with screen wide attacks that leave little room to dodge. During my first attempt, I managed to win only because a bug caused the boss to get stuck. Otherwise, success depends on effects like bleeding, since getting close to a boss is usually fatal. The biggest issue is how your character’s attack speed slows down when too many enemies are on screen. In extreme cases, you can almost stop attacking entirely. This happens because every enemy hit briefly stuns you and resets your attack animation. If you are surrounded, especially while using a slow weapon, you may not be able to attack at all. This design also creates balance problems. Some weapons become nearly useless because speed matters more than anything else. For that reason, one of the most reliable options is the spear’s right button attack. It propels you forward across the screen, damaging everything in your path. While its damage is not particularly high, it helps you stay mobile and avoid being overwhelmed. In short, the runs feel repetitive since they always play out the same, but the game compensates with new gear and talent points earned after each attempt, rewarding persistence with access to the best upgrades.
