From the independent studio that brought you Contrast, We Happy Few is an action/adventure game set in a drug-fuelled, retrofuturistic city in an alternative 1960s England. Hide, fight and conform your way out of this delusional, Joy-obsessed world.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Reviews
This games has an interesting story and a balance between the characters
One of my favorite game to play and even replay
British humor, 60s art deco, and lot's of drugs. (what's not to like?) I loved it and only played for the story beats.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 12: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This game was totally underrated when it was released. A very good immersive sim with unique art direction and a concept still refreshing in 2025.
The setup is nice but the AI is laughably bad, the "open world" has "must do this task first" limits everywhere, false walls in a lot of spots, and there are so many bugs. Hard pass.
Have you heard about Constable Rosetti's wife's cake?... No?... Well, you have come to the right place. This game is just incredible; you get to fight the British, be an absolute psychopath and greet random people on the street with a "Lovely day for it" at the same time. Development for this game had quite the unfortunate turn of events so don't expect a very polished game. Play as multiple characters and follow their journey in this first person action adventure story in a world where an island within Britain takes a hallucinogenic drug called "Joy" to forget about the horrors of World War 2. People don't die in this universe, they just go on a holiday... permanently. We Happy Few has a deep story and the writers deserve an award for it. Not much replayability since there are no choice-based actions within the story. About 60-80 hours of playtime. I would advise for waiting for a discount, that way you can get the DLC along as well. The DLC content is interesting, and compliments the game well. If you played Bioshock or Atomfall (and presumably enjoyed them), then this game will fit you perfectly. - A tale of wacky humor in a grim reality. Make sure to take your joy while playing dear players, because nobody likes a downer.
Really like the art style and dialogue in this one, funny, witty, overall a pretty good game.
I've hated it, the map is not clear, it does not warn you about what you are going to do and it was awful to run out of that stupid town.
despite some flaws i can honestly say this is the best game ive ever played, i love the concept the story and the design.
