Okay its simple nice game. But what i miss is some kind of achievements, or any more interaction with player. And missing Q E rotating of space (or maybe i missed it). I CAN RECOMMMEND TO MY FRIEND EVEN TO MY GRANDMA.
TL:DR It's a small game, but it's free and gave me some entertainement, so that gets it a positive rating in my eyes. Quick Review It's a tower defence game. If you've played the genre before then since this game is so simple you'll probably be able pick it up quickly, although there isn't much here to pick up. You build towers to kill enemies, which in this game are made of water. There are two types of enemy, which have their own towers to deal with them, and towers do nothing to the other type of enemy. There are also towers that can generate passive income for you over time. Interestingly, you can move placed towers for no cost, which mean that micromanagement is key to getting ahead in the early game, although since towers don't attack whilst repositioning it's only useful until you have some decent income. Towers There are four types of tower [olist] [*]Collection Towers - These deal damage to polluted water only [*]Cleaning towers -These deal damage to petroleum towers only [*]Holding towers - If polluted enemies get near these towers, they are automatically destroyed. They have a max capacity and are filled according to enemies remaining HP, so they are good as a last line of defence. [*]Reuse towers - These generate income over time. [/olist] Bad Points [olist] [*]The mustic gets very repetitive. [*]Micromanaging towers is very tedious. Towers also have vertical height, meaning it's easy to select a closer tower than the one your mouse is actually on. I feel the game would have been better as a top-down TD game rather than isometric. [*]Not being able to move the camera by moving the mouse to the edge of the screen gets annoying. [*]Camera movement speed is very slow. [*]Range indicators / whether towers are doing damage is very vague, so I have no idea what the optimal strategy is without experimentation. [*]Where you can place towers is not immediately visually obvious. [*]The middle tier of Collection/Cleansing tower doesn't seem to be useful - they don't have the damage to be more useful than the third tier, but don't have the range to be placed behind a first tower [*]It feels like there should be a way to remove obstacles like trees and rocks to make room for more towers. [*]There is only one map. [*]The Move tower/Delete tower buttons don't feel great in terms of size/placement. [*]The tutorial is pretty bad. As of time of writing there are no other reviews for the game, so this could just be me. [/olist] The game also doesn't seem particularly difficult to max. I got a score of 12,160 at around wave 40/41 after 35 minutes of total playtime. Since I had the best towers on every location and more money than I knew what to do with, I can't really see how I would get to a higher wave, so considering the not-great QoL/interface I can't really see any reason to come back to this game. From a design perspective being able to freely move towers hampers the games difficulty, as micromanaging with a few towers and buying income towers is always optimal, whereas I think the games balance does take into account players who won't move towers continuously Overall This is a short review as this is a small, short game. With tower upgrades, debris removal, more maps, and some QoL changes it could be a much more immersive game, and whilst I don't think it's a game I'll ever come back to, it was a good 30-60 minutes of entertainment, which for a free game is perfectly fine, so it's gets a positive review.
