Watching Delusion

Some of the reviews here criticize this game as not being a valid puzzle, but I have to disagree. In a world where "match 3" is called a puzzle, this game is distinct in that it challenges you to find the right arrangement of shapes that not only have to pack together but have to overlap in a certain way. The final "mechanic" of swapping two cells is not really a puzzle, but think of it as a "mental exercise" instead. Similarly the way you have to remember where you laid each piece exercises the mind, and we all need mental exercise.

Another poor showing from the same bundle I got two other bad games in. Thus far there has only been one I liked. This one is a puzzle game, but where it started fine, in later levels I didn't feel like I was figuring anything out, it felt like brute forcing, which isn't fun. Seeing as the puzzles are the only reason to play this since there's no story, I can't recommend it, and I would call it a 4/10 at best. My playtime is inflated since I left it on overnight. Around 14-15 of the hours are just from that.

While the mechanics from the trailer are present and look interesting, the game appears to be designed for mobile-first and is cheaply ported to Steam. The first few levels are interesting but quickly devolves into a far less interesting set of (at least slightly) confusing mechanics that don't feel good or fun.
