Wasteland 2: Director's Cut

While I definitely recommend this game, that doesn't come with some caveats I have played a decent amount of CRPGs and turn-based games, and this game still made me feel like a total noob. Not a lot of hand-holding occurs in this game. Definitely got my save-scumming skills down after playing this as well. But I really liked this game. The atmosphere that it has is great and the feeling of being some tight knit squad of Desert Rangers is felt. I never thought that a zone was super barren or devoid of meaning. Every character felt somewhat important to the story or what I was trying to accomplish. So, I'd certainly recommend the game, but be ready for something that may be a struggle or a challenge.

I wanted to like this game but there were several issues, especially with the combat but also some quests were very obtuse with stupid choices and options. I really hope 3 will be better. (note, I played on another platform and have played the whole game through on hard) ((second edit, I did play this on steam, it's just for some reason not registering my 70 hours here, weird, must be due to the different versions, despite me having played the director's cut))

Fantastic game, one of my favourite turn-based cRPGs.

The resurrection of a cult classic, Wasteland 2 does not disappoint. Set in a nuclear South-west USA you create and manage a four-man group who have recently joined the remnants of the Desert Rangers. As an elite squad of wandering lawmen it's up to your discretion to solve various problems while investigating the mysterious death of one of your own.

The best role-playing game I've ever played and also one of the best single player games. Played the director's cut and spent 200 hours with it. Didn't get bored at all, enjoyed the story and had great time with huge amount of decision I was allowed to make. Gaming mechanics are little bit clunky, but does not ruin the experience. Based and red pilled.
