Warhammer Underworlds – Shadespire Edition is a digital adaptation of the explosive, high-stakes, turn-based strategy tabletop game from Games Workshop that pits mighty warbands from the Age of Sigmar universe against one another in an eternal player versus player battle for Glory. Choose a warband, build your decks and carve a path to victory using dice-and-card mechanics that offer boundless strategic depth.
Trapped within the towering spires of the Mirrored City of Shadespire, fourteen warbands battle it out for survival - each with unique abilities and a distinct combat style. All of these warbands are now available to play in online matches, bot matches or single-player challenges, having previously been available as DLC!
Playable warbands:
Steelheart’s Champions - Magore's Fiends - Garrek’s Reavers - The Sepulchral Guard – Spiteclaw’s Swarm – The Farstriders – The Chosen Axes – Ironskull’s Boyz – Thorns of the Briar Queen – Eyes of the Nine – Drepur’s Wraithcreepers – The Storm of Celestus – Stormsire’s Cursebreakers – Mollog’s Mob
Your success is measured in Glory points - awarded for achieving objectives and vanquishing your foes. Deckbuilding is the strategic heart of Warhammer Underworlds – Shadespire Edition. Your 20-card power deck is filled with clever gambits, powerful upgrades, and cunning spells you’ll need to inflict maximum damage. Your 12-card objective deck will shape your tactical approach to a match, allowing you to score Glory by fulfilling specific conditions.
A rewarding progression system in both online matches and single-player Challenges allows you to earn cosmetic content including warband skins, deck portraits, and player titles! Only those who have proven themselves in the unforgiving streets of Shadespire will be able to claim these rewards.

As much as I like this game (and the board game), it’s extremely outdated, no players (most of the fun comes from the multiplayer which is not possible due to no players), abandonware, buggy as hell, and really expensive. Don’t buy it unless it’s €5 or less and you really want to try it. Just hope and pray for a sequel updated to Underworlds 2.0.
Play the board game version which I belioeve is on of the best multiplayer games I have. This allows me to have a simple game when nobody else is available to play. Its a pity that its not supported anymore. New boards and warbands would be ggreat to keep the interest higfh.
Even for $2 I went ahead and refunded. The dice plus card mechanic sounds good on paper and with a game only being 3 rounds long you'd think it would be a nice distraction, especially with being able to see miniatures "come to life". In fact it's rather tedious and the rules are obtuse even for a Warhammer game. It couldn't just use normal dice rolls? After my second match I felt myself just wanting to be done with it by round 2 but I was winning so stuck it out. Still, it just takes so long and there is much more reliance on RNG than tactics which means wins feel hollow and losses are frustrating.
¿No me crees? Gástate los 2 euros y luego me cuentas.
