First of all, I am grateful for Everguild's dedication in building HHL and Warpforge. In my opinion, the best card games ever made. Sadly, I had to witness HHL shut down. Such an incredibly fun game. It had a depth that was hard to find in other card games, the strategic layers, the unique mechanics, the world they built around it. The community was passionate, the artwork was stunning, and the gameplay kept you coming back for just one more round. It's the kind of game that leaves a mark on you. Even after the servers go dark, the memories of those hard-fought victories and the heartbreaking losses stay with you. HHL wasn't just a game; it was a labor of love, and it showed in every card, every update, every interaction with the developers. To the team at Everguild: thank you for everything you poured into it. It may be gone, but it will never be forgotten by those of us who were lucky enough to play it.
Thanks EG. You provided Fun while it lasted. Your Silence will hopefully remain where you put your Players. In the Dust. Because if you will not listen before your own enforced End... you never will. As your Vulkan stated: "Your Future is flickering." Goodbye. Forever.
This game stole my free time when I was in highschool. RIP.
I had so much fun playing this. This is an excellent card game and it is a great loss to the community. No idea why such a great thing has to vanish.
