Legendary game, but it's aged like milk. Can't fault the number of armies on offer in Dark Crusade, nor the spectacle of some of the battles (especially melee! it's still incredible to watch!) but it feels absolutely primitive now. It's very hard to go back to this kind of RTS, where the "strategy" part feels mostly about economy. I prefer Dawn of War II's squad tactics a lot more in practice, if I'm honest. I still recommend out of nostalgia, and because it's a slice of RTS history.
