tl;dr Game is plagued by performance issues, UI glitches, and lack of players. Pros + At least one map is thoughtfully designed. Might actually be fun if the game ran and looked better. Cons - Performance is laughably bad. Some maps run at 40 FPS on an RTX 2070 and i5 9600K. If I wanted performance this bad I'd play Crysis on medium. - The UI is a complete mess. I see "Bu" and "Clos" everywhere instead of "Buy" and "Close". How did nobody notice this in testing? - UI modals are too transparent, making it hard to read what's inside them. - My favorite part: It takes 7 SECONDS (I timed it) to animate and display all the 24810 skins available for the AK. - Some of the character skins are insultingly expensive. There's a pink skin for $15 USD that looks like someone opened the texture in Photoshop and rolled their face over the hue/saturation sliders. 0 effort cosmetics are always nice. - Loot crates don't work. I bought 5 of them and they all gave the EXACT SAME skins. But wait, it gets better. None of the skins actually unlocked. I had to buy them separately. - Why is the game telling me to disable my antivirus and firewall? Starting to think this is a crypto mining scam. - The game's aesthetics are a mess. Someone took the saturation dial and turned it to 11. Also what happened to shadows? Everything is so flat. I know that all these problems can be fixed with time (and effort), but the game seems to be fully launched and these oversights tell me that either the devs are very incompetent or they simply don't care about anything but making a quick buck.

First of all, good job developer for making this game ^^ I think there is alot to fix like idk why but whenever I'm aiming the mouse keeps getting lost. But all the bugs aside, I could imagine that this is going to be a fun game to play whenever you and your friend are bored. I wish you the best of luck to make this game what it could be. -Senji
War Identity is a great game with a solid foundation and huge heart. Though the game is still work-in-progress, the developer is extremely engaged with his community and transparent about his roadmap of features. This, in my book, is more than enough reason to keep playing and provide feedback. The HUD and user interfaces are relatively intuitive - it is not hard to quickly jump into a match and play. Some potential improvements could be contextual tooltips or hints that can be displayed to the player when they need it (for example when a player is out of ammo.) But honestly, at this point these are minor polish improvements to an already well-functioning game and certainly won't stop me from enjoying War Identity. The customization system consisting of both roles, gun skins and attachments provide a decent amount of variety even for a new player. In terms of content, I was surprised at the amount available considering the small indie team. I do feel like it will take me quite a while to earn all the content and it is a great motivation to keep playing. I do wish I could get more weapon unlocks earlier on though. Some minor balancing changes to find that sweet spot between giving away just enough and monetization would be nice. Having said that, you are never hard-locked out of any customization content as it is possible to earn everything by playing the game. This is a huge plus for me given most free-to-play games these days! Within the game, the guns themselves feel very different in terms of playstyle, yet each gun feels realistic due to the audio, effects, reloading, and impact of the shots on the target. All of which makes for great immersion. Other audio cues are on point as well, giving you a directional heads up on incoming enemies or zombies reminiscent of Left4Dead while the music enhances the sense of tension of a survival experience. I want to give props to the Zombie mode in particular since it is my favourite mode and reminds me of the experience I no longer have in Left4Dead as I've become desensitized to it. It invoked a strong sense of nostalgia that I haven’t felt since I first played the original Left4Dead. It has been a true pleasure to rekindle that feeling in War Identity. Speaking about modes, the different game modes also provide a decent amount of variety and varying levels of competitiveness. While I wish there was more variety in each mode’s level design, I can understand the priority to create more variety in new modes before creating more content in each mode. Regardless, every mode still delivers the promise of short but exciting sessions that are easy to jump into. Personally, I think War Identity, like other FPS, is best enjoyed with friends. If you’re looking for a different realistic military shooter, so grab some friends and give it a go. Props to the developer and keep up the great work!

War Identity is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", PWNED Studio, took the MFPS 2.0: Multiplayer FPS Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, Lovatto Studio, changed the name, added some asset flipped skins and maps and other garbage, and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. It gets worse... "MFPS 2.0: Multiplayer FPS" has also been shamelessly dumped on Steam by other asset flippers apart from PWNED Studio:

"Black Ace", asset flipped by Tuning Mania
The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "MFPS 2.0: Multiplayer FPS" is just a template framework for making multiplayer FPS arena shooters, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so a copy+paste of it can't be recommended. The developers did add a few extra features to this asset flip, assets from other asset flip sources (maps, skins etc), and much more nasty stuff like cancerous microtransactions, to double down on the cash grab nature of this scam. They did everything possible to get paid for the work of others at the expense of gamers. Pretending this is a serious attempt at an FPS, and not just a cash grab, it's bad, really bad. Let's go over the reasons this failed, and would have failed even if it wasn't an asset flip scam. And fail it did... resoundingly... SteamDB shows a peak player count of just 36, just for 1-2 days, then the player count dropped to around 1 player per day at best. First up, the developers deliberately didn't use SteamWorks, demanding your private email address so they can profile you, spy on you, collect data about you and sell that data to third parties. Of course they'll swear black and blue that they don't, you should trust them with your private data... but how much is anyone going to trust asset flip scammers? The developers made the terrible mistake of launching a multiplayer only game in Early Access. This is almost certain to kill the game. Most gamers will evaluate a game only once. If they do so when the game is incomplete, they will check it out, then abandon it (just like the developers did). When (IF) the game eventually does get around to release, there will be no players, because the developers burned the first impressions through their faulty Early Access experience. Players who saw the game and didn't like it because it was incomplete do not come back. Multiplayer games must have a large population if they are to go "viral" and succeed, especially without single player content to fall back on. Releasing a multiplayer only game into early access kills the game population, and thus the game, before the game even launches. The developers made the fatal, lazy mistake of believing that PvP, other players, would be an acceptable substitute for doing the difficult job of adding single player level design, storytelling, NPCs and other rich aspects of designed game content to the game. As a result of this choice by the developers, the game has little to no actual interactive game content. It's a little considered fact that the vast majority of PvP only, multiplayer only games fail. Developers must learn that other players are not an acceptable substitute for doing the job of game developers and building a game filled with content. PvP only games must have a huge player base for them to "go viral" and succeed. But with no single player experience to add lasting value to a game, the developers instead chose to bet against all odds that their game would "go viral" without any actual reason for players to want to play the game. Predictably, they lost this bet. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from PWNED Studio.
Its in its infancy, but it's coming along quickly and the developer puts in SERIOUS hours in terms of making the game better every single day. His discord is constantly flooded with updates that he's making 2-3 times a day and major updates that he makes daily. Given that only one person has made/is making this game...It's pretty damn solid! Worth a run-through and definitely worth following to see how/where it ends up!
Game just doesnt work. Gives a working circle in the corner, and then stops. Tried it 5 times. Broken game
I won this game on a giveaway on like late October (in which the game is still at Pre-Alpha and not yet released) and I know I've only played this game for a few hours and i must say it is very fun but the problem is there is just not enough players and i haven't even played with any players yet only bots, but i wish there will be more players to play with. It is very fun, I see lots of potential in this game+ its a free to play so get it please.
great game especially since its made by one developer. i just feel like the zombie that shoots that green beam is crazy op also theres giveaways right now for 25k in game currency which has already gotten me everything ive wanted in the game so why not try it out i cant say much yet because ive only played 1 round of zombies but its fantastic so far
