Feels very very faithful to the original cod zombies experience especially WaW zombies which I absolutely love. This game has several challenges to unlock as well as skins and other customization to keep it feeling very rewarding which I absolutely love. I am a HUGE cod zombies fan and have been playing it since the BO1 days on 360. This indie game matches that vibe well, while still keeping its own charm with the graphic style and enjoyable character dialogue. All in all I am very much enjoying myself here and can see myself getting hooked on this for a while, especially with friends. Just purchased the supporter pack and I advise others reading this review to do the same if they are able to as this has a very very promising future that I look forward to including myself in. Lots of charm, all in all very fun with loads of potential as updates will hopefully keep rolling out going forward adding more and more to the experience. A great first impression, good work creator(s). REALLY GREAT!!

It's a good timewaster. If you're the kinda person that grew on cod zombies you'll probably get a pretty good kick out of it. Hope the updates make it more interesting, game seems a bit stale right now with only three maps and a pretty limited selection of firearms with what feels like a clear meta (you get whatever wall gun is good in the most spacious part of the map, and then you hope for jesus gun). Having a 40-minute-long game was my "oh my god I get it" moment btw so I can vouch for the game having what is definitely a solid skeleton, which is why I hope the game gets a lot of content, since I think it can become THE multiplayer timewaster game ever. Performance is also pretty good in my limited time with the game; it runs pretty smoothly, and being a European who primarily plays with folks in NA, the fact that netplay is buttery smooth is a great plus for a broad like me. they should add the super plasma cannon and ultra shovel to this game btw it'd be epic
Very representative of the core CoD Zombies experience of old for a free indie game. Very faithful and just as addictive, however it absolutely needs workshop support as content is heavily limited currently, and I could see modders go to town on this as a lighter alternative to BO3. As far as the base game goes, the only note I have is that there is almost no time between rounds, making it very difficult sometimes to get your bearings, re-buy lost perks, hit the box, etc. You can do the old crawler trick of course, but a little bit of breathing room would be heavily appreciated. The experience feels a lot faster paced than the real thing, which could be down to taste, but I find it exhausting. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ free get it!
Extremely fun, although got to about round 30-40 with friends and an invincible zombie appeared in one window and ended the run , has some other weird bugs too but well worth :^) amazing atmosphere too
dope game, it has some questionable bugs here and there (invincible zombies for example) but it's early access, plus it's free so I PERSONALLY can't complain, good alternative if you don't wanna buy 60 dollar games just to play zombies
the name of the 'blessed' pack-a-punched) StG44 is 'ze germans', which sounds trite but it's a reference to the movie Snatch where the character 'Turkish' interrogates Tommy about his firearm, asking if it's to defend himself against 'ze germans'
COD zombies but free!
Game didn't start.
Edit:
Because of the region lock, rofl.
Came across this randomly tonight, and thought I'd give it a go! It captures the feel of classic zombies very well, and has all the staples you'd expect from such. The game is a bit on the difficult side. By round 10 the zombies outpace you, and there's seemingly no way around having them right behind you at all times or being overrun. I believe the addition of a Stamin-Up-esque perk (if it's not already in there, haven't come across anything of the sort in my playtime), or simply toning down zombie speed, would work wonders for this game! The weapon roster has some good variety and there's plenty of viable options, but I notice little-to-no recoil or bloom in game, which can make shooting into a horde trailing behind you sometimes a little difficult. It feels like every gun shoots center-screen, and when I have a good number of zombies behind me at all times, sometimes I'd like to just fire and forget. The pinpoint accuracy serves as a detriment in scenarios like this, as missing in this game can be extremely unforgiving. The perks are fine, and function, for the most part, as you'd expect them to. Need A Hand (Quick Revive) revives you in solo and makes revives faster in Co-op Buff (Juggernog) gives you additional health, albeit less than it does in most Treyarch games (4 hit downs instead of the 5 you may be used to if you're coming from CoD titles). Speedy (Speed Cola) makes reloading quicker and allows you to rebuild barriers. Last but not least, Bullet increases fire rate of the weapon you're using, although I can't tell if it provides a damage boost to weapons as well. This perk is genuinely useful in this game, as having a faster fire rate can be the difference between getting enough shots off and surviving, and being overrun. Maps are quite basic, but also quite fun, There's a good mix of closed, more claustrophobic spaces, and more open spaces that allow you to attempt to train the horde, albeit it's somewhat difficult due to the zombie speed. All in all, for being free to play, a very solid little game to kill some time on! With a couple of tweaks here and there, I could see myself dumping endless hours into it for sure!
Nazi Zombies is one of those games where you instantly feel the potential. The atmosphere is tight, the gunplay is satisfying, and the wave progression keeps you locked in for ‘one more round.’ It already nails the core of what makes zombie survival fun. What excites me most is how well this game could grow with community creativity. Unity titles often thrive when players can make custom maps, weapons, enemy types, and new modes — and this game’s foundation feels perfect for that kind of long‑term evolution. Even in its current state, it’s a blast. But if the developer ever decides to open the door for modding, I genuinely think this could become one of those cult classics people play for years.
