this game is a TOTAL MESS only plays in window and wont run on 4k screen without issues sound is basic graphics are basic but thats the point so fine but compatibility is not great at all controller support is NOT FULL so expect too use a keyboard or mouse shame this game was interesting and reminds me of mario cart was hoping it was better than it was buy on DEEP sale ONLY if your interested in making this work better and dont mind fiddling about with applications and compatibilitys i rate this 2/10 needs enormous work to get to a usable state that everyone can enjoy tested with xbox one controller - was better than the other but this is cos its customisable in windows xbox 360 controller - didnt work correctly ps3 controller - didnt work correctly ps2 controller - only a few buttons work corsair gaming keyboard n95 + g502 hero mouse 2070 8gb +i7 6800k 32gb ram on 256 nvme

Currently the game has a bug impacting many where the screen is black. This can be fixed by changing your desktop resolution then running the game at a different resolution. With that said, the game plays nothing like the original, and the biggest issue in that is some sort of "auto-drift" or just bad control design if that wasn't an intentional thing. What I mean by this is that when you, for example, turn right, your kart turns to the right, but it also slides to the left, meaning if you need to steer into items, you're more than likely going to miss them. You basically need to line yourself up with them before getting to them, and manage to grab them moving in a straight line, or simply get lucky when trying to steer into them, likely grabbing one you didn't want (but at least you got something, right?). As is, I can't recommend this. If you want to play an enjoyable version of the game, go grab the original for half the price of this mess.

Typically, I don't like to say this, but do not buy this game. Seriously, it is impossible to get running properly on a Windows 10 or Windows 8 PC. Out of the hundred times that I tried to get the game working, it only worked twice and the graphics looked awful, looking like something you would submit as your first ever game design class project, like I've seen Flash games that look better. It's a shame because I was interested in it since Wacky Wheels was my first ever kart racer, but it is not worth the headache to try to get it running. If I hadn't bought the game from a third-party website, I would be refunding this. Please don't waste your money on this.

Bought it, unfortunately it had issues with the controls, and as others have said, breaking and jumps weren't very smooth, it felt more like an attempt to recreate the original, without quite matching the feel of the original. Hopefully a future update may warrant buying it again.

I could barely get it started and when I did I regretted it. This has destroyed my fond memories of the original.

If you have windows 10 it likely wont work even trying all the tricks to try get it to open, sad cos it was a fun game back in the day
