I have difficult thoughts about the community. I arrived here as a new person without an established VRC community just looking to enjoy new spaces! I've heard SO SO SO much positive from the 3D artists i'm friends with and I thought this would be worth my time. I tried my hardest to get into VRC, curating my own experience and even cracking open blender for the first time for this place, but quite frankly... it's not worth the uphill battle to be a part of this bubble. I have literally never seen a general community space so *welcoming* and tolerant of nazi symbols, filled to the brim with proud 4chan-esque slurs, and much more. It's almost anti-climactic that despite putting in tremendous effort to look past the sheer number of troll-infested worlds... this game is just flat out not worth it for someone new and an "outsider" to the space looking to explore. I've been told endless times that friendly troll-free spaces exist in 18+ locked instances... but the spaces shift from childish meltdowns to flat out intolerable spaces. I think VRC made me appreciate fundamental & mandatory moderation that is naturally implemented in every "large social game" ever created.

this is an adult social game that the developers is forcing it to be kids game, even though this game has been built to be more for a all you can eat buffet of roleplay debauchery that are made for kids, yet even though the developers are aware of what this games is filled with certain individuals that PRAY ON CHILDREN yet the developers continue to make this game more for children, this is a game that i will predict that will become the next roblox, where it will be cancelled so hard that every other normal person that plays this game for the purpose of "fun" will just leave and play another game made for adults or something, the least benefit i can say is that this game at least gives you the freedom for you to make any avatar you desire like making a master chief avatar that can do meme related post as an emote and etc... aside from that this game sucks, and is made for autistic people to get leeched on mirrors like a mindless drone, or crashers crashing whole servers or make youtube content related to trolling people or making whole vr movies... because that kind of exist 3/10 at least i can make metal arms avatars and act my fantasies of committing robotic genocide :)
