VR Soccer Training is a free VR game for Oculus Rift. I have a HTC Vive v1 HMD. It worked on my system to a point, looked ok, sounded ok, played ?, was understandable. The requirements are Keyboard and mouse, Valve Index, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. The store instructions says this game can use the Kinect hardware for i guess full body control. You have 3 game modes: Free kick, Goalkeeper and Targetshooting. You have 3 difficulty selections: Easy, Normal, Hard. I think the devs are South Korean. Has English and Korean text in the Arena. You can see your body, legs, and arms, from your headset. The arena looks pretty cool. You hear the crowd chanting during a game instance. The NPCs looked well modelled and textured.
I tried the keyboard , found that R key re-centers my position, so i can put my body facing the correct way while at my keyboard, i have a lighthouse above and to the left of my computer keyboard. There are instructions for the keyboard posted in the store notes. But keyboard does not work to actually control the player's body during a game instance.
The gaze system works using my HTC Vive, gazing at the right spot selects menu hotspots. Nothing works on my controllers during the game instance, except the vr menu button.
Does Not work with the HTC Vive, and might not work with the Valve Index also. They need to remove that from the VR support listing. Make some changes that lets the game work with full body tracking on HTC Vive, or Make the controller swing movement work your legs and the touch pads could do movement.
Try this game, Only if you have Oculus Rift and / or a Kinect hardware installed on your pc.
