Played on Quest 2 in PCVR on launch day. I played the first VVR game and I was really hyped for a second instalment of the series. I'm utterly disappointed and agree on why the game got so many 'not recommended' review. spoilers for about the first or 2 hours of gameplay. You get into the main area and It felt a bit like the original game. weird lobby with interesting and diverse character with interactables and "mini games". that part was pretty fun but quickly died out. Then you head to a mixer for what ever reason and it feels very out of place. especially since it doesn't do much apart from confusing me. Then you get the attack yada yada, that was pretty nice I liked that. The mecha part, from what I've played ( up to about the teleporter upgrade) ) interior design is pretty nice, some broken parts but still functional, you know its been used by the weird guy living in it and all cool lore. fixing it as well. Then comes the part where you learn the combat. suck and shoot with target practice. another attack and you get to learn the basics of movements. imo, THAT part was the deal breaker that made me refund the game. It's so janky and clunky, you gotta move so much just to turn left or right and then control the speed and jump or sometimes jump while turning and all. Pretty hard to control and in all not an enjoyable experience. if it was a first person mecha with joystick controls, it wouldv'e been nice ( or an option to enable it). The areas, once you escape you get to a giant empty gym place with volcanoes (iirc its been a long time) pretty hard to know where to go and I ran straight until I got invited for a spa or asmr experience or wtv. really really weird, but I enjoyed it ( first odd interaction you get since the start area ). You get to a spa resort and suck and fight enemies rince and repeat, while going through a linear area but still disorienting enough to get lost, since its hard to concentrate where to go and actually moving plus sucking and shooting the enemies. ill stop here cause its about the same for the rest that i've played but instead you get a teleporter ball that you can grapple. That feature is pretty cool cause you don't have to use the regular controls. verdict: if you're looking for VVR 1 experience, It's not here. If you dont mind for a slightly similar genre I guess in some way, its an ok game.

(WMR) После шокирующей в хорошем смысле первой игры, про эту даже не знаю, что сказать. По реализации просто какое-то месиво. К сожалению, не могу рекомендовать.
goot, 3 hours in and i found cRaB
I was really looking forward to this game, since the first one is such a classic in the book of VR games. Unfortunately this game was not it. The character dialog is so uninteresting, the voices talk over each other all the time, and the mechanics are very annoying. But the worst part is the plot... which made so little sense to me, to the point that I stopped playing it. I wanted to give the game a second chance but was so uninterested I figured that was enough to leave it there. Additionally everything felt so tedious... form having to listen to the character dialog to the weird flashes of things light playing "beatsaber" which was kind of funny at first and then the "joke" lasted what felt like 7 minutes.
theyre all horrible people in a found family way because family hurts everyone around them and themselves, best game ever... hope to be able to listen to the music from it. this game seriously deserves more recognition!!!
super disappointing. It has one of the worst possible starts to a game and by the time it started the real game, I was already about half way checked out. I fully checked out when I realized what the main mechanics of the game was, the Mech. It controls like ass. No charter is likable and it has nothing to do with the first game. The first game was so good, the fact that the same guy made this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this many years later is so disheartening and downright disappointing.
Enjoying it so far! I played VVR on the go years ago but haven't played a tender claws game in a while due to not having a quest/rift s. Its very different from the first game but I am enjoying it nontheless. Don't go into it expecting it to be like VVR1. I'm about 3 hours into it and still have a lot of game to play.
The game while not as good as the original was still fun and had a good thing going, the thing that really killed if for me was the Valve Index support being pretty terrible and the very frequent soft-locking bugs. If the Index Support was much better this would have been a positive review of all the things the game does right like the expansion on the first game's story, the voice acting, and the soundtrack
Not fun, not interesting, not funny, ♥♥♥♥ graphics. There's just not a single good quality about this. I really don't get what's wrong with people saying this is amazing.
i loved the story and hernandez
