Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
Please note: I received a free steam key through the Steam Curator Connect program. Even though this game doesn't list the Oculus Rift as officially supported, I am happy to report that it works completely fine without any issues. Unfortunately, that's the last bit of good news I have for this title. This is a bad mini-game collection for Virtual Reality Training. There are three mini-games in this collection. None of them are good. Two of them are pretty awful. The graphics are subpar. It looks like some of the assets used are taken from the Unity store (the ones they give away for free because they are not very good-looking assets). Whether it's the dummy that you box in VR or the basketball hoops or the tennis rackets models. They are all rather poor efforts in making you believe that you are playing any of these sports. On top of that, it seems the scales are off as well. Then you get into the actual games themselves. The basketball mini-game is the worst basketball game / mini-game that I have ever played in VR. There are better basketball games on the Oculus Go / mobile VR than this effort. The basketball physics is just all wrong. The game itself is just clunky with the amount of balls thrown in the air that knock off your own attempts at the basket. The boxing mini-game is the second worst boxing game in VR that I have ever played. What could be possibly worse you ask? Well, I just happened to have played Boxing Apocalypse last night and this game manages to be better than that truly awful game which I rated 2 out of 10. In this game, you can clip through your opponent. The AI seems to want to walk up right into you. In the end, you're just flailing away with your hands to win. There's no strategy here. I would recommend Thrill of the Fight as that boxing game looks like game of the century compared to this effort. Finally, we get to the one mini-game that is not horrible (but still not good). The tennis mini-game at least has something interesting & is a challenge that requires quick movement & reflexes & precision striking. So you have tennis balls or bombs flying at you and you have to avoid the bombs while hitting the tennis balls towards the bullseye target. Again, there's just much better tennis / racket games in VR, including Racket NX or First Person Tennis, which would be cheaper than this title. RATE 3.5/10. But you don't need to take my word for it. Take a look at my review & video here: https://youtu.be/ncrEwQmcSyA
I've had my Rift for two years and in that time have tried hundreds of games and experiences. If you asked what was the worst thing I've ever played I would say this. It's so bad I can only assume it was put together in a single weekend using stock unity assets. That wouldn't be so bad if it was on sale for a dollar or so but charging £27 for this should be a criminal offence. Immediately uninstalled and refunded.
-Terrible -Costs money -Buggy -Loud 1/5 This isn't a good Fitness game, it has 3 terrible modes: 1. Boxing in which the boxing CPU constantly walks into you and damages you whenever it walks into you along with randomly hitting you through your glove and doing damage. 2.Tennis in which you try to dodge bombs that blow up randomly no matter what giving you -1 score. Meanwhile try to hit Tennisballs onto a target, these balls don't always make it to you, most the time they bounce into the area, and go straight to a roll. Also when the ball actually manages to get to you, it either goes through the racket, or smacks off into some random direction no matter how you have the racket aimed. 3. Basket Ball in which 3 colored basket balls fly at you from every which direction and you have to catch/throw them in the correct colored hoops but watch out, miss one and you get -1, also if they bounce out of the hoop and roll into your area you get -1 point as well. This is a terrible game, a terrible fitness game, and even for 90% off, I highly recommend staying away from this.
30minVR
STEAM Group / STEAM Curator This game is truly awful. Read the bold developer description and expect the complete opposite. All the mini-games are poorly designed with limited audio (the boxing has no audio at all). The game play is pretty terrible overall, devoid of any element of fun, with unrealistic execution of physics that add to the mess, and after a few short minutes I quit the game, completely unimpressed and bored; and uninstalled forever. I specialise in active VR games for fitness, and can look past some game play limitations if a title is good for exercise purposes. I found nothing redeeming here. Just avoid.

how to get the pumpkin?
you really need to fix this game. i was able to do nothing pretty much. my guy moved and every thing but he did not strike or acutally hit him . dont even get me started on the other 2 games . do not buy this game it is broken. steam should start testing that the games are at least playable. that said, i do like the idea of the game. fix it and it will make some money. but i feel cheated....
