Dragged by her parents, a young and rebellious teenage girl – Violett, moves to an old spooky house in the middle of nowhere. Forced away from her friends and life in the city; she imagines how boring life in countryside will be: spending day after day, bored in her room with absolutely nothing to do.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Very fun and pretty game. Art style is like a mix of Tim Burton and Hayao Miyazaki. Most puzzles are challenging without being too difficult. The world is gorgeous and super interesting, and the music is really nice too. Really enjoying this game so far!
Violett is an imaginative and eccentric point-and-click adventure from Forever Entertainment S.A. that transports the player into a surreal dreamscape where logic bends, objects behave unpredictably, and every room feels like a puzzle box ready to be unpacked. The story begins with a simple and relatable premise—a teenage girl, resentful after being uprooted from her familiar life, escapes into her room only to find a strange glowing hole that pulls her into another world. This journey into the bizarre functions as both a fantastical escape and a metaphor for the emotional turbulence of adolescence, though the game keeps its narrative sparse and symbolic rather than literal. Violett’s tale is told through expressive visuals and environmental clues rather than dialogue or exposition, and that choice helps sustain its otherworldly tone from start to finish. The most striking aspect of Violett is its visual identity. Every environment looks hand-painted, filled with warped proportions, swirling lines, and dreamlike juxtapositions that echo the work of storybook illustrators and surrealist artists. Ordinary objects become oversized or strangely animated, staircases twist into impossible loops, and rooms unfold in theatrical compositions that invite scrutiny. The art direction creates a sense of constant novelty—each screen feels like a diorama crafted with care, encouraging players to stop and absorb its details even when they’re momentarily stuck on a puzzle. This surreal style also reinforces the idea that Violett is not meant to mimic reality but to present the world as a reflection of the protagonist’s fears, frustrations, and imagination. Gameplay stays true to classic point-and-click traditions, with a focus on environmental interaction, item collection, and solving self-contained puzzles within individual rooms. Most areas function like compact mechanical contraptions, requiring you to manipulate switches, combine objects, and use Violett’s telekinetic abilities to move otherwise unreachable items. When the puzzle design is at its best, it presents a satisfying chain of cause-and-effect challenges that reward observation and experimentation. The inclusion of telekinesis introduces a useful twist, allowing for interactions that go beyond standard clicking and giving certain puzzles a sense of physical playfulness. To prevent players from hitting hard roadblocks, the game also includes a tiered hint system, offering optional nudges that escalate from vague clues to clear guidance. However, Violett’s puzzle design can be uneven, and this inconsistency is one of the aspects that divides players. At times, progression demands pixel-hunting or trial-and-error solutions that feel unintuitive rather than clever. Some puzzles rely on obscure visual cues or require interactions that do not immediately seem logical, which can break the flow and lead to frustration. Control schemes also vary in effectiveness depending on the platform—while the game was built with touch interaction in mind, pointer-based controls on certain versions can feel imprecise. These issues occasionally intrude on the atmospheric experience, making it clear that Violett’s ambition sometimes outpaces its refinement. Narratively, the game embraces abstraction. Instead of dialogue-driven storytelling, it communicates through animations, visual metaphors, and the structure of its environments. Speech bubbles with symbolic icons replace spoken lines, leaving more room for interpretation. This approach adds to the dreamlike quality but also means that the emotional stakes and character arcs remain subtle and understated. Players who appreciate open-ended storytelling and interpretive narratives may find this refreshing, while those who prefer clear motivations and structured plots may feel unanchored. The central hub—a looping, Escher-inspired staircase—serves as a thematic and structural anchor, reinforcing the idea of being trapped in a world where direction is subjective. Violett is most rewarding when approached with patience and curiosity. It doesn’t guide the player aggressively, nor does it offer the polished puzzle design or narrative sharpness of top-tier adventure titles. Its charm lies instead in its artistry, its eccentric imagination, and its willingness to embrace the irrational. For fans of experimental or visually driven adventures, it offers a memorable journey through a vividly crafted world filled with oddities and quiet moments of beauty. For genre newcomers or players who prefer puzzles with strict logic and seamless interfaces, it may feel more uneven—intriguing in concept but occasionally rough in execution. In the end, Violett stands as an adventure that values atmosphere and artistic expression over mechanical consistency. Its surreal designs and strange world-building create an experience that feels like stepping into a living painting—one filled with whimsy, mystery, and a touch of melancholy. Even with its flaws, it remains a distinctive and evocative title for players who enjoy losing themselves in unusual worlds and exploring puzzles that reflect the logic of dreams rather than the rules of reality. I tried to give this game a chance, but no. It's Alice in Wonderland if Alice were an annoying, angsty teenager and the book were a tedious and poorly designed game. I don't like games without dialogue at the best of times, but this one is the worst of times, with zero explanation as to what the hell is going on at any point, aside from diary entries that don't explain anything. Why is Violett in this weird fantasy world? What's the objective? Why am I supposed to be doing any of this? I have no idea, which is not sufficient motivation to slog through the tedious puzzles in this "point and drag," since simple design mechanics were too hard for the devs, I guess. Also, the 2D art for the intro cutscene is so nice. No idea why they went with much worse 3D graphics where Violett can get stuck behind a spoon or something. Oh, and to add to all the fun, the game crashes a lot.
