Dragged by her parents, a young and rebellious teenage girl – Violett, moves to an old spooky house in the middle of nowhere. Forced away from her friends and life in the city; she imagines how boring life in countryside will be: spending day after day, bored in her room with absolutely nothing to do.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Cheap, that is the one thing I can say about this game. Everything feels oh so cheap. Do not buy this game.

Excellent Graphics Art & Story Spectacular Really Like AND Loved The Game
The game feels outdated with clunky controls, uninspired puzzles, and bland visuals, making it less enjoyable for modern players.

That's commitment.
Welcome to a surreal puzzle adventure where the art could earn an A+ in art class, and the puzzles could make you question your sanity. This review is practical and strategy-first — designed to save you keyboard-smashing, hair-pulling, and existential doubt.
TL;DR
A rebellious teenage girl, Violett, is dragged by her parents to a spooky house in the middle of nowhere, then falls into a Dali-painted dream world. Your mission is simple — collect 212 orbs and escape. Sounds harmless. Feels like a personal vendetta from the devs.
Quick Facts

[th]Item[/th][th]Detail[/th]

Developer/PublisherForever Entertainment S.A.

Steam RatingMixed, ~62/100

Reviews~844 (525 positive / 319 negative)

Price$9.99 (dirt cheap on sale)

GenrePoint-and-click puzzle adventure

Length7–10 hours (more if you 100% it)

For fans ofHand-drawn art, patience, orb-hoarding

Art & Music: Dali Would Approve
The game's biggest selling point, bar none. Hand-drawn surreal scenes, colors bright enough to blind you, and creatures weirder than your dreams. Players compare it to "a Salvador Dali painting" crossed with Coraline. The soundtrack shifts mood with every scene, from melancholic and light to dark and unsettling.
Strategy First: The Anti-Rage Walkthrough (Spoilers)
This game's biggest flaw: puzzles give almost zero hints. You can never tell if you're "stuck" or "bugged." Here's a condensed guide to cure your hypertension.
★ The Three Golden Rules
[olist] []Save in a new slot before every challenge room. Softlocks and unclickable objects are routine. More saves = more lives. []Grab orbs the moment you see them. Some become permanently uncollectable if you wait, forcing a reload.
Turn hints OFF in settings. With hints off, the tip button highlights all interactables — a free wallhack. [/olist]
★ The Opening (Completionists Beware)

The very first screen holds 6 orbs + 1 diary page, and you can never revisit it. Miss them and it's a fresh save for you.

★ Key Puzzle Solutions

[]Opening: Use the paper clip on the exposed wires to light the matches. []Library: Press the book tabs in order star → dots → moon → two → spiral. Snow (left) + rain (right) = ice bridge; later rain (right) + sun = rainbow bridge. []Airplane: Ring bells yellow ×1, green ×1, purple ×2, grab the key, open the "cheesy jail," feed the pilot. []Mine: Set organ water levels to 3-1-0-2-4-1 for the fish bridge; then 4-2-0-3-5-1 to open the door. []Chimneys: The flag/elevator puzzle is absurdly finicky — follow a guide's flag order exactly to reach the top. This grants the Power of Air/levitation. []Final Boss (Spider Queen): Grow a plant for defense → concentrate → hold toward her → fire charged shots until she drops. If your amulet runs out, you're ejected and must re-enter.

★ 100% Completion
212 orbs (one is literally unobtainable — Schrödinger's orb), Uncle's diary pages ("The Bestiary"), and 3 whistle pops ("Melody pops"). For the "Supercharged" all-orbs achievement, follow a community guide level-by-level, and don't miss that first screen.
The Bug Show (This Game's Hidden Boss)
If obscure puzzles are "design," the bugs are "performance art":
[]One player swears "the Remastered edition remastered the bugs too" — and there are a lot of them. []Orb-collection bugs can force a full restart (one player hit this 3 times and achieved enlightenment). []The game can freeze entirely when saving, breaking your flow. []Achievements Brain overload and Tick tock reportedly fail to trigger.
No orb-count summary at the end, so you'll never know what you missed — the cruelest PUA of all.

Pros & Cons

[th]Pros[/th][th]Cons[/th]

Gorgeous hand-drawn art & atmosphereObscure puzzles, nearly zero hints

Emotionally fitting soundtrackStory told only through visuals, no dialogue

Remaster adds levels & original musicOrb-collecting drags the pacing down

Dirt cheap on saleBuggy, freezes, crashes

Verdict: Worth It?
Recommended for: Hand-drawn art lovers, patient puzzle fans who tolerate high difficulty, and completionist orb-hoarders (bring a guide and a chill pill). Avoid if: You need clear logical guidance or have zero tolerance for bugs.
This game doesn't test your IQ — it tests your telepathy with the developer. Buy it on sale as a wallpaper library; beating it is a bonus.
Point & Click Hell This Game is a lot about backtracking, waiting until Violet walked through a room and randomly guess which part of the Background can be interacted with. I did not had fun playing. Also the Boss fight was kinda buggy and i needed to redo it like 8 times before i finally did it. And its a cheap boss fight. The Game needed to be reset a bunch of times because the character got stuck in an animation or wouldnt do what they should do (like changing clothes.)

Quirky little puzzle game would definitely recommend playing it!
Impressive visuals. But the puzzles are unintuitive, nonsensical even.
Violett is basically a mediocre Alice in Wonderland rip-off. Visually, the game is attractive enough, and the audio is pleasant, with the exception of a few jarring noises here and there. Most of the puzzles are straightforward and there is even a sense of curiosity that the game evokes every time you enter a new area. Unfortunately, the gameplay is very tedious and gets boring fast. There is a lot of pointless backtracking, a lot of hidden object searching for barely visible pebbles you need to fight the final boss, and a lot of bugs, which range from cursor disappearing to animations getting stuck. Fortunately, restarting the game fixes these issues. Pebble-hunting is made more annoying by the inconsistent cursor icons which often do not change correctly when you are over interactive areas. And the level design overall makes it very hard to figure out where the walk-able path lies. Unless you have nothing better to play, don't waste your time here.
