So...I received this key for free and was excited to share it on stream. I'm a huge horror/indie fan and was completely ready for a *slightly* cursed experience. As someone who consumes a lot of this kind of content I knew it would more than likely be a little cheesy, a little reused (taking from other popular horror games), and maybe a little frustrating. I tried, and I mean I TRIED, to go in with an open mind and not so judgmental BUT OH BOY was I in for a ride. First of all, the story is non existent, there is no build up, no explanation, just random poorly phrased comments that make no sense. Next, the mechanics are SCUFFED. Doing absolutely anything in this game takes more effort than what it is worth. I will say it did have some good meme qualities that caused some good laughs which I appreciated. The whole reason I took my time to write this though was because of chapter 5. **SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD** The flashlight does not work at all, causing the beginning of the chapter to be nearly impossible. It took FAR too long of me being stubborn and stumbling around to find what I needed to proceed. THEN, I get inside and BAM. Game breaking bug. There was a wall, that according to the discord should not be there, which caused me to be unable to proceed any farther without deleting the save file and starting again. The entire experience as a whole was just unpleasant which was a huge disappointment. Other notable things: every light does NOT need a flare and the motion blur is awful for those who get motion sickness.

Violation is an Unreal Engine asset flip attempt at making a first person horror game by failed developers, FiveDead. The game is very badly made and makes little to no functional sense as a game. You're in a blurry, badly rendered asset flipped forest and you need to collect bits of paper while a monster chases you? Or something? Let's get down to brass tacks. This asset flip costs a whopping $6 USD (plus $2 USD DLC). It's an unfinished, hamfisted mess. But it's also following from the asset flipped, abandoned, hamfisted, unfinished mess that is Firescout. See, the developers at FiveDead did another asset flip and dumped it on Steam as a $10 USD multiplayer FPS arena, that failed, and they never finished it. Taking the low, unethical road, instead of finishing their game or refunding the victims who paid for Firescout, these guys went on to do another asset flip... as a cash grab. This is basically a scam. It should be no surprise that FiveDead are dumping their asset flips into every bargain basement shovelware game bundle they can to extract as much as they can from these half baked, half finished asset flips. This is basically a scam/cash grab, as all asset flips are, and must be avoided.
Well I got a key for free to try the game I was judging the game from the screenshots because I didn't watch any of the videos so I went into the game with high hopes. After getting into the game I saw that the first thing you have to do is collect 8 letters I think it was and there was something staggering around the woods trying to chase me looked like a miniature Slenderman. After that I realised it was just different levels ranging from a forest to a secret lab which didn't get me excited about playing the rest of the game but I played on and one of the monsters doesn't even make a noise when it is chasing you and after that I noticed it was banging into walls a lot. I made a video on what I played of this game so check it out if you wish. https://youtu.be/R_ueKvCt5es
I recieved a free copy of this game and showed it on stream. The game had pros and cons. Most cons I'm hopin can be ironed out in the future. Pros: Neat premise of dusk lighting The voice actor was SO good The music was really good Cons: The ideas all seem similar to other games Most of the sounds in game were WAY to loud The graphics were just ok, some parts seemed to need more attention The story was super hard to follow Lots of typos which made teh reading info not great No way to tell where the killers are The hit boxes made no sense as I would see it far away and would still be hit Overall I gave it about a 5/10. I think it had a good amount of potential but just needs a bit more love and is currently just not worth the price. I hope to see what the stufio comes up with and any updates they provide to enhance the game.
it's just not enough to say it's good or even ready. you decide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrqcbw7PVBw&t=1807s
Encerrei a live. Minha surpresa: ninguém passava do capítulo 5. A solução? Eu coletava as 8 páginas e nada acontecia.
So you start out in a forest and have to collect 8 pieces of paper, I guess there is something in the forest chasing you but i was able to collect all of them without running into it. Then you end up in a fancy building somehow and have to find switches now. Could not get myself to play past this level after dying to a roaming enemy a few times, The enemy was really weird, and buggy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a-cOTwCvoyA
